I just realized. the sharringan evolved from the byakugan right?(according to kakashi when neji was introduced) Now with madara spouting that destrined to hate crap it just occured to me that if there was any truth to that statement then the Hyuuga clan would be involved in the cycle of hate vs the senju which isnt the case right now from what i can tell. And if itachi was trying to end the cycle of hate and destiny of the uuchia then the hyuuga woulda had to be killed as well in the first place.

This has been annoying the crap outta me ever since the emphasis on the sharingan and its history was explained by Madara after Itachi's death. For the moment just chalking it up to plot no jutsu.

Mizukage VS Sasuke: Sasuke uses Susanoo to defend against the Mizukage's Lava Release: Dissolution Technique¹, but takes a hit from Hiramekarei.
He flies back and is locked in a room with the Mizukage

It looks like the Mizukage has two kekkei genkai: something called Boil Release
She uses this to create a strongly acidic mist from her mouth to try and melt Sasuke...
Out of chakra, his arm begins to melt, but at that moment Zetsu uses his Spore Technique³ to grow out of the Mizukage's body and suck up her chakra. Sasuke is revived with fusing chakra and the locked room is destroyed by Susanoo.
They escape - Zetsu binds the Tsuchikage and his attendant, but the Tsuchikage says: "Shall we get involved too then"
They escape from Zetsu. A technique is fired at Sasuke that would disassemble him at the molecular level, but Sasuke has disappeared.

Then the Raikage and Gaara enter the conference room

Then Madara appears, carrying Sasuke on his shoulder

That sounds like the "best" ending we could hope for from this current installment of sasuke shippuden. Sasuke didn't actually win vs everyone, got outclassed badly,and everyone gets to be bitch-slapped by reality like they should have been when they got their ass kicked by Killer-bee. I could see much worse endings for this current "arc" like a repeat of that BULLSHIT victory over deidara.

Sasuke finally being taken out of the fight is a-ok in my book. I'm just glad he didn't actually fend off all of the kage. Completely agreed with Khajit in that Sasuke did well in keeping up with the kage, but he wasn't able to get a definitive win over any of them at all.

Revived via fusing chakra? I'm guessing that's Jugo's work then. But how does he go from running out of chakra so much that his arms start to melt due to the Mizukage, to then being able use Susanoo again to destroy the room?

I'm seriously hoping Zetsu pulls off another "Hellooooooo" when he pops out of the Mizukage's body.

And I guess Madara's following the villain rulebook closely by revealing his evil plans.

Yeah I was thinking along those lines too (the Zetsu thing), but first thought was to Jugo when the spoiler mentioned a fusion. And yeah, I could see Susanoo being the cause of the arm deterioration I suppose, considering it's the first time Sasuke's used it and he's already using it that long.

I'd lol if Madara just left the others behind. In all honesty he really should, since like you said he's not the type to really give a shit about them since they're not a part of his plan.
