Honestly for someone who is supposed to be a ninja genius, Sasuke is pretty dumb. Iirc Itachi TOLD him that Susanoo drains the life of the user while it is in effect and here Sasuke goes and uses it for extended periods of time his first go anyway.

I think it makes sense really. A number of people turn to doing bad/evil things for attention, everyone watching you as you explain your master plan is a whole lot of attention and insures people will be paying attention to you. Most villains are out just for themself and a monologue is all about them.

Not sure why this discussion is being spoilered, but oh well. The villain monologue also gives them a chance to prove/gloat about how much smarter/superior they are compared to the naive heroes. This just feeds their ego even more, rolling back into the it's all about them theme. I can forgive the cliche as long as Madara's plan isn't completely retarded.

Madara Monologue no Jutsu is all he's done since it was revealed who he was, I don't see why anybody's surprised he hasn't done as much as lift a finger otherwise. He might as well be a speaker dangling from the ceiling for all that he's physically proven capable of so far.

Fucking this. lol worthy (in a good way, IMO) how after everything that was thrown his way during the fight, it's a gigantic box-thing crushing him that does the job.

Yeah it looks like he was hiding in the ground or something and then came out to do a "Deus Ex Machina Jutsu" for Sasuke by stealing everyone's chakras and giving them to Sasuke.

My take is that particular body is dead, but prior to being nabbed by the Raikage he had used that jutsu to spread those little bits of him around. Then after some time they started growing.
