Good chapter. Looks like we'll be seeing less of Sasuke for a while and that's always welcome. And Kisame versus Bee is gonna be awesome. I don't want Bee to lose, but if he does it would show Kisame is much stronger than Juugo, Sasuke, Suigetsu and Karin combined.

It was said killerbee had the ability to control the eight tails. That ability might not be one that could be taught but killerbee might have naruto come to terms with the nine tails. In an agreement maybe, the nine tails might want more freedom and he might lend naruto more chakra and let him fuse into a sage/ninetail hybrid.

Pretty much everyone has been expecting Killer Bee to play a role in Naruto's kyubi control, but if I recall, there was an interview with Kishimoto. In it, he mentioned that the chakra levels between biju did not scale evenly, which meant that while the hachibi is six or seven times more powerful than the ichibi, Kishimoto said that the kyubi's power was perhaps thousands of times greater than the hachibi.

I'll admit that even the author's off-hand speculation doesn't count as canon, but my point is that given kyubi's supposed power (combined with the naturally malevolent nature it's repeatedly been said to have) even with Killer Bee's help, it's possible that Naruto might never control the kyubi.

At least from what I read, I'm just pleased to see that Kisame doesn't actually merge with his sword or anything like the spoilers seemed to suggest. They were just mentioning that him and his sword combined have the power of a jinchuriki.

And I tend to lean in the direction that Sunrider mentions. Even if you assume that the Kyuubi isn't too much more powerful than the Hachibi, the nine-tails is still seemingly much much more violent and unstable. It doesn't seem like it would ever agree to a mutual relationship with Naruto. That said, I think that Bee will at least help Naruto control it a bit better (since after all, Naruto needs some control over it for "that" jutsu apparently), but I doubt he'll ever get to the point that Bee and his beast are at.

If Naruto reaches a point where he can fight while the kyubi gathers natural chakra, I'll be extremely satisfied. I don't care if he ever controls the kyubi the way Killer Bee does the hachibi.

I'm not interested in seeing Naruto go Super Saiyan--er--tailed mode to win fights. I wanna see some goddamned ninjutsu and clever tactics.

On an unrelated note... I was beginning to forget how awesome a chapter can be when there's not a Sharingan appearing every other panel.

Which is probably the case, considering how the other tailed beasts seems to be cabable of being taken down by an extremely high-rank ninja. Even when we saw Shukaku during the chuunin exam, Gamabunta was doing pretty well against him. Add a little summon back-up and he might not be so tough.

Meanwhile the Kyuubi nearly soloed Konoha before the Fourth sealed him. And we can be sure that Konoha would have had plenty of top ranking ninjas there fighting it, not to mention how awesome the Fourth himself was.

Anime is pretty freaking awesome right now. I like how they added little extra portions to the battle so far with Jiraiya vs Pain. I'm anxious to see the Naruto/Pain fight animated in 2012.

Only seen a couple of episodes that weren't filler in about 2 years, is there any filler arc worth watching?

How is the pacing of the recent anime episodes? I stopped watching because of the pacing (and fillers are terrible) but if they've picked up I'd like to see this stuff animated.

im loving it. the action animation is on POINT. its comparable to the sasuke and naruto fight and they are filling it in very nice with some flashback scenes.

but i heard they are going to have a filler soon? is this 100% accurate? i hope its not a 1 year filler. good god. please no
