Or the super-weapon of mass destruction we already know he has, just at ~80% of its max power
Oh wow what an awesome twist if the spoilers are true. That's freaking awesome lol
Seems like a cop-out in what would have otherwise been Bee's demise. Seems like Kishimoto was like, "YEAH LET'S MAKE KISAME SUPERSTRONG!" then realized Bee would probably need to actually survive this fight, then went "WHUPS LOL NEVERMIND, WE CAN MAKE THIS SWORD WANT BEE'S NUTS INSTEAD!"
It doesn't. Otherwise there wouldn't be spoilers.
I was going through old episodes and chapters and noticed a few things.
The first was when the fox said if sasuke kills naruto he will regret it. The way he said it wasn't a threat but more on the lines of advice. Why would the ninetails give advice to sasuke unless he knew something that would come into play at a later date?
The next is we know the uchiha's had control over the nine tails. We also know that the sage made the moon and separated the tailed beasts. The sage also possessed the rinnigan, it was said that on a tablet left by the sage you could only see it with all three sharagans and a rinnigan user. Any chance the two different eyes are connected in some way?
According to some previous chapters, the Sharingan evolved out of the Rinnegan, AKA, the great Sage's power being divided into his two kids, one got all the eye techniques which later evolved into the Uchiha clan. The Byakugan is a little weird though, I kind of remember hearing it's a mutated form of the Sharingan. But I could be wrong.Originally Posted by gandorf

What you're referring to is something that Kakashi said in the first half of the Manga:
Spoiler: show
What Kakashi is passing on is essentially a rumor/myth/legend, not stating fact. As far as we're concerned, the root of the Byakugan and how it was developed is still all a mystery. Kishi hasn't delved into that stuff at all. But as far as the Rinnegan and Sharingan go, Madara clearly explains that the Rinnegan eventually evolved into the Sharingan as the bloodline thinned out. Which sort of kinda justifies why Madara would be bossing Pein around, but a really weak justification, I think.
Vajra, I don't mean to be a dick, but it always seems like whenever I post in this topic, I'm cleaning up your mistaken facts.
Madara was only able to boss around Pain, because he knew his secret (6 paths control shit), and Pain was easy to manipulate, just like Sasuke is. Madara is a really good manipulator. Sharingan was never not stronger than Rinnengan. Only reason you can say that it is now, is because all the Rinnengan users are DEAD. Of course Pain's Rinnengan was considerably weaker than the Originator (note his Chibaku Tensei (but Pain had limited Chakra because he used alot of ninjutsu prior to using it). Sasuke wouldn't of had the stamina to take out Pain (-the fact that Naruto transformed into Fox) like Naruto did, even if he knew the secret about how to beat Pain.
Sasuke relies too much on ninjutsu, Preta Path would just absorb EVERY ninjutsu he uses. The paths seems susceptible to sound genjutsu (pa and ma's one got them easily), but we've not seen any visual genjutsu used on them, so don't say Sasuke could Tsukuyomi them. Look how much of a hard time the Raikage gave him, he eventually ended up running out of chakra vs the other Kages, and didn't get to put up much of a fight anyways.
Those pages don't state anything, all we know is that Rinenngan is the ultimate eye technique, everyone knows that, even the Infinite Tsukuyomi is just a Rinnengan with 9 Tomoe man, gtfo with this Sharingan > Everything bullshit. It goes Rinnengan > Byakkugan > Shargingan.
But anyways, my point won't be proven until Neji fights Sasuke and owns him hard. Neji is just as fast as Sasuke, and we've only see him use 1 new jutsu so far in part 2 (his ranged gentle fist move), I'm sure he has more new ones.
Anyways, lets not have a Naruto epeen contest. Who gives a shit anyways about hacking dojutsu eyes fuck dat sheet.
Who gives a shit who's eyes are better?
When it comes down to it you know Naruto is gonna beat someones head in.
I don't necessarily think Pain's Rinnegan was inferior to Rikudo Sennin, I think it's just that Nagato lacked the creativity of use that the Rikudo Sennin employed.
Nagato didn't lack power--he had enough chakra to revive and control six dead bodies and control seven total, dividing his speech, senses, and powers among each. We might never know for sure, but I'd bet his chakra caliber was up there with Naruto and Kisame. I can only imagine what he could do if he focused it all through the one body.
It's not like Nagato had to go about creating jutsu--the Rikudo Sennin blazed that trail centuries ago. Nagato never had an insurmountable for in the form of a ten-tailed beast, either--Rikudo Sennin took care of that, too. Nagato really didn't have any of the challenges that Rikudo Sennin had with which he might have used the Rinnegan for innovation.
Another factor that might bear consideration is upbringing. Nagato was a timid little war orphan who grew up in a village constantly stuck between other countries' conflicts. In addition, he'd also watched his friends and family die. We can't say for sure what kind of environment the Rikudo Sennin came from, but we can suppose that Nagato's upbringing kind of narrowed his outlook on life, and and so narrowed his potential for Rinnegan utilization (and also made him an easy puppet for Madara to manipulate).
___
If I had to guess, the development of dojutsu doesn't follow any linear order. It isn't as simple as Rinngegan > Sharingan > Byakugan(or vice versa). It looks to be the case that Rinnegan might be the common ancestor, with Sharingan and Byakugan being parallel, branch evolutions (much like humans and apes' parallel coexistence on the evolutionary ladder, with a common ancestor). The Rikudo Sennin's Rinnegan might in itself be a direct diluted version of the juubi's tomoe-bearing dojutsu.
Whatever the story, this Byakugan/Sharingan rivalry is silly. Both are boss, and both are suited to specific purposes. A Sharingan user can be hell on wheels with a copied arsenal, but you're fucked if the Byakugan user gets in reach of your tenketsu. Sharingan is the perfect tool for espionage, but for surveillance or medical support, I'd rather have a Byakugan user on my team.
It's easy to plot a winning scenario for either, so it's silly trying to debate superiority.
