I dont know, I would reckon a lot of Uchihas would be good enough to activate their sharingan. Anyway, Its never been said how big the clan was but there must have been a heck of a lot of them - they ran the police force and the Uchiha complex looks basically like a mini-village.

edit:unless you are talking about Mang.Sharingan. Those aren't MS eyes he has implanted they are just the basic sharingan with 3 swirls in them

Yeah you're right, just looks like 3 Tomoe in each (like a fully grown normal Sharingan) to me.

Randomness: BTW, why do people on naruto forums make such a big deal out of the Tsuchikage being able to fly. Garaa can do it too lol, he made the sand platform to avoid Kimiharo's ultimate jutsu and to save Rock Lee; Desert Suspension. Also he was flying in his Giant Sphere of Sandwhen fighting Deidara. Tsuchikage manipulates earth below him to float. Other than that, Tsuchikage can petrify targets that grapple him, and crush things with a giant cube which destroys the target on a molecular level, big whoopty doo .

Nope. You're thinking of the MS one.
Note how Obito was mocked for not having it by the time he was a teenager in Kakashi Gaiden. It seems like a pretty standard thing for uchiha if anyone that doesn't have one yet gets mocked like the last girl to grow boobs in class.

Oh yeah and it seems possible to use those eyes imo.
Why? Because Garaa used a sand eye technique to cheat in the ninja exams and elsewhere thereby proving that ninjas can see out of fake eyes not even attached to their body. Using eyes that are part of your body seems much easier to me in comparison.
As for advantages? The guy just gained near 360 degree vision as if he had a byakugan, multiple places to use genjetsu on a person from so simply avoiding eye contact with the face wont work,multiple points to use the same genjutsu from so it'll be stronger and harder to dispel, etc etc from the top of my head. It has to drain chakra like mad though so it's suited for either a berserker style or very fast fight imo.

Only disadvantage is that Danzo's chakra will run out fast, unless he has a big ass reserve for an old guy. That's why his arm was sealed just like how he covers up his eye (like Kakashi) when not using Sharingan.

I always did wonder why noone bothered stealing sharringan's after the massacre now that i think of it. Entire countries were willing to risk war for byakugan and that's weaker technically if you get a sharringan over 3 dots.
