Madara is already standing right next to him. We'll see if he takes him away to heal, or if he just caves in and allows the Sauce to order him around.

Sasuke's snide tone doesn't surprise me, but Madara listening to him does. Perhaps he's just happy to be rid of an old pain in his ass, and happy to have a tasty new eye to play with.

Sakura still has that super strength for Sasuke to deal with too. I mean even Naruto's afraid of her punches(and doubts his ability to heal back from them) and while they were usually struck in anger they were never truly aiming to kill.
Plus madara's still gotta extract Shinsui's eyeball so that's why Sasuke doesn't get to leave asap.

I was under the impression that Sasuke was at least partially healed up, since he did take a bite out of Karin before Danzo took her hostage.

Strength is hard to use when you have nobody to use it on. I'm telling you, there's no way Madara lets her land a hit on him in his current state. That, or she'll be punching Susano'o

We still don't have an accurate idea of how strong/good she really is though.
I was surprised when i found out that KIBA of all people had one of the top 3 most outright damaging attacks in the series. I'm not saying she has a chance of winning. I'm saying she's got a shot at doing some damage and it would be entertaining if she was winning at the start.
Kishi does alot of character development/ideas behind the scene but doesn't always show it all in the manga pages.
As it stands we have an anbu(Sai), future/acting hokaga(Kakashi), one of the strongest nins in kohana other than naruto(Kiba according to kishi), a taujutsu specialist whom can access 8 gates + drunken master lulz(Lee), and a healing nin that is very battle capable and can dispel genjutsu. If they arrive in time we are going to see a good/big fight.

For as much emphasis as Kishi put into Danzo, he's been the most pointless character in the series so far. He accomplished absolutely nothing besides being a plot device for Sasuke's acceptance of the dark side. The little back-story for Sarutobi was nice but that's about it concerning anything Danzo.

I'd rather see some quick dispatching of enemies than get a few chapters of backstory for every single one. Especially when this is a Sasuke enemy, meaning it's all Sasuke and backstory. Just move on fast plz.

When I finished the chapter concerning his Hokage nomination, I was juiced, expecting some real rise-of-the-Galactic-Empire type shit. A Konoha helmed by Danzo could have made for some dramatic stories. Instead, his winds up with the shortest reign ever and fall prey to an angry fifteen year old. What a waste of such build-up.

Though, I think the final flash back intended to paint Danzo a more sympathetic character to the readers who'd simply written him off as an irredeemable douche.

Kakashi steps in right as Sakura is about to fight Sai and prevents her from going alone. They all end up going together but are too late as Madara and Sauske travel in a different direction to get to Konoha. Just feels like we are about to get some downtime on the action for a few chapters.

Honestly Danzo just felt like a waste of time. I didn't even hate him like I do Aizen in Bleach, except for the fact that I hate him for taking up space in the manga that could be spent on people who actually matter. All I can hope for is that he actually stays dead and doesn't just pop up to screw with us later. Maybe the manga can get back to being about, you know, Naruto. And his badass coat.
