Scenario with Sakura is probably along the lines of "If I join up with him, maybe I can get him to trust me enough to change his mind." It's still dumb but people forget that most of the main characters are teenagers and thus make immature decisions. Just the simple fact that she joined up with Sasuke will motivate Naruto more to stop wtf is going on.

It could definitely be that too. Scenario makes more sense than people are making it out to be and it's a rather nice but not totally unexpected twist.

Aye it does somewhat. I'm wondering more about how she got passed Sai and/or the others in her group, plus whether she's aware of what Sasuke did to Karin prior to her asking to join. Will be interesting to see her reaction to Sasuke "finishing off" Karin, or whether he'll even do it or not. Possible double-switch (Sakura with the bad guys, Karin turns good)??? 8-)

Given her mindset and speech to Naruto, I'm inclined to think she's joining him in order to try and catch him off-guard. She just got lucky that there's an opening in the healer department.

Deep down inside everyone knew that the terrible, crying, "Sasuke-kun"-enthralled Sakura was still around. Yes, it is likely that she has something planed besides just joining him and he will probably test her when Kakashi shows up. Then Naruto will show up and see something that will cause him to rage or /emoslice. Then Yamato will show up, releasing the wood bunshin that is watching Naruto's kage bunshin, and save the fucking day with his killer wooden giraffes of doom.

No matter what I think we can agree that obviously, whatever Sakura has planned, will be screwed up from the start by her own ineptitude or thwarted by Madara/Sharingan.

I like Sakura's choice. We'll see if Sasuke allows it, but I think it's a sound tactical decision and really the smartest one for Sakura in her position if she wants to resolve things without regrets.

First time was out of fanaticism and Sasuke just wanted power, she'd complicate things. Now Sasuke is on the run from every ninja village and has limited allies. Very different circumstances.

And I'm kinda hoping Sakura heals up Karin. I don't like her character but she got a lot of bad shit her way recently and with that bit of backstory I can now see there is a reason for her obsessive fangirl view of Sasuke. Sakura/Ino didn't get their lives saved by Sasuke or anything (at least prior to fangirlness) but worshiping someone who saved your life isn't farfetched or too crazy.
