I agree. Epic episode there.

I was impressed with the episode as well. It's a shame the fight didn't start out this way.
P.S. Some of you seem to have terrible memories.![]()
Good ep. Why would Chiyo forbid herself from using the puppets? Kakashi/Naruto must be at least 20 miles from the cave lol. They've been running for 4-5 episodes.
4-5 episodes is like 12 minutesOriginally Posted by Yangsing
yes, remember. This is the anime-rule of time. Remember Goku vs Frieza and Namek exploding in 5 minutes? =P
Also, Shippuden has sucked up until this epsode. Well.. I take that back.. 1-2 was good, but ever since then.. it's mostly been snail's pace slow, so I was glad to see how quickly this episode moved along and the amount of epic it brought to the fight that I enjoyed in the manga.
Awesome. Doesn't get much better than that.
If they went at this pace the whole time the anime would be awesome, but considering how the storyline has gone from now until current manga placement, there's not really a good time for filler (except potentially after the next arc they could show some filler with other characters while certain people recover/mourn), so if they rushed they might need it (we don't know if the current arc is going to end soon or extend to be very long and uninterruptible) so I think this is them being cautious and trying to avoid filler. Of course, it's nearly as bad as having filler, but I'm hoping they can figure out a better speed to do things, and hopefully talk to the manga writer so they can have some clue of progression. Currently the manga is running at light-speed of plot unlike pre-timeskip when honestly filler would've worked fine at some places since they were essentially skipping blocks of time instantly. Manga is rushing around and no time to work in any filler.Originally Posted by Akiyama
I thought this episode was great, looks like we get to see the conclusion (for the most part) next episode too. Can't wait for the next arc, cause it's a lot more epic than this one, imo.
this week manga is pretty good, although it's a bit heavy on dialog, at least we get some insight on Pein's power and how sasuke matches up to itachi.
epic battle coming up![]()
Yeah man, I totally agree. This is something anime developers always have to worry about. If we move too fast and cover 1-2 chapters per episode, then the episode count would be low, but if you move at half-a chapter's pace, then the fans get angry and say the anime sucks, so you really lose both ways. D: I was just copmlimenting this week's episode because honestly... other than episode 1-2, the rest of Shippuden has been a horrible, badly animated trainwreck.Originally Posted by Eaglestrike
Also, good manga this week.
Is that Uchiha Madara I see after those crows vanish? And wtf lol, can Jiraiya go anywhere now? D:
No clue on that..
I did read somewhere, and I'm not taking this info as 100% true or not, but in Jiraiya/Tsunade's conversation in 367, people are led to believe that Tsunade mentioned Minato (Yondaime) as being Naruto's father, but that Naruto fights more like his mother who has been revealed to possibly be named "Kushina", and that Naruto actually resembles his mother's father. (His grandfather) .. so all of this info is just overbearing for me right now. We're getting a lot of backstory on Naruto finally D:
Also.. it's mentioned somewhere that Pein may in fact be an Uzumaki. Again, this is not 100% confirmed I guess until it's properly translated from the japanese raw, but yeah. It's definitely interesting if true.
Pretty sure it's just sasuke standing among the crows.Originally Posted by Marcicus

367 out and translated by MS!
Just follow the link, click Chapter 367 and you can figure the rest out. It's great quality as well. One Manga seems to be down a bit. - http://anip.homeunix.com:81/onlinereadi ... aruto_v39/
Also, it seems they really danced around really saying that Namikaze Minata (Yondaime, Yellow Flash, whatever you want to call him) was Naruto's father, but it is confirmed that Uzumaki Kushina was indeed Naruto's mother.. and she seemed to be tomboyish with red hair and all fiery. That's awesome. I can definitely see his personality as matching her's if that's the case.
Enjoy!
wtf part are we supposed to copy D:Originally Posted by Akiyama

It's pretty clear from the translation I read that the Fourth is Naruto's father. What I wonder now is the story on Naruto's mother, did she die in childbirth? Fighting the Kyuubi? How?
Naruto needs to learn all his fathers jutsus now. He already surpassed his Rasengan ability, but he needs to get the speed, he'll be set once he gets that against all but...the Kyuubi, lol.
I really hope Jiraiya doesn't die, it would still be a pretty big change for the anime, but they've killed the 3rd and Asuma over the course of the anime, it wouldn't be a complete shocker for Jiraiya to die, it is sort of unfair for Konoha to still have two of their legendary Sannins at home guarding the place, makes them weaker with only one and opens them up to another arc. Saw someone make a comment about manga ending around the 400th episode but this manga makes me think that isn't the case, it was said today that Naruto still has a LONG way to go, and I don't see things ending until he can at least be seen as the Hokage. But it would be interesting to see Tsunade and Jiraiya die and Kakashi be the 6th.
And about Itachi vs Sasuke, I'm now fairly certain they won't be fighting to the death like Sasuke wants, there's going to be either documents or one of the people/cats there will tell Sasuke the truth about what happened that day. What I'm waiting to see is what's going to happen with their allegiance/alignment after this happens. If Jiraiya does die, I see those two returning to Konoha or at least defending it in some way, but I really don't know where Kishimoto is going right now with that storyline.
