Well in that last panel he's out of it, so either he's saving it so as not to reveal his trump card, or he didn't even need it to rescue her. Either way, his speed is impressive. I hope they'll continue to showcase his level of speed, instead of always having the Sauce as the faster of the two.

Hell, maybe not even in Sage Mode. He rather easily defeated Pain when he was in Sage Mode, he only had issues when he was running out of chakra. He was basically invincible when he had it activated.

Agreed somewhat. This was against an enemy that completely outclassed a Sage, and Pain took out Jiraiya rather easily. Naruto beasted Pain.
