Snice Sasuke has reached his limit there are three possible outcomes:

1. Madara rescues him (most likely)
2. Madara gives Sasuke Itachi's eyes (they collected them, but it seems unlikely because that is epic tier fight level and it doesn't feel like Sasuke has the stamina.)
3. Sasuke dies (not fucking likely)

Therefore, I've got my money on the first option. I must say, seeing Naruto swoop in so fast and give that half-stare gave me chills. Shit better be interesting somehow even if they don't fight. I like the idea someone had about Itachi's gift to Naruto being something that informs him in some way.

Well we know Sasuke is being primed by Madara; Madara has suggested multiple times that he is putting Sasuke in these fights solo because he wants him to develop his sharingan. Sound familiar to anyone? Orochimaru maybe?

Perhaps Madara's plan involves implanting his eyes into Sasuke. Perhaps he needs Sasuke to be a certain level of capable before he can safely consider using his body as a vessel. It would explain why we haven't seen his face (it isn't really Madara's body).

I can see this leading to Sasuke losing control of his body and being a prisoner in his own body and slowly realizing he doesn't want to be evil anymore. Then you have the cliche fight between Naruto and Madara and just as Madara is about to finish off Naruto, Sasuke overcomes Madara's will and speaks to Naruto: 'Naruto! Finish him off, forget about saving me!' and we have the chapter of tears and giant rasengan to the heart.

I hope this doesn't happen but I mean, it would explain why Madara is so obsessed with Sasuke becoming stronger and simultaneously, what the plan is for Sasuke's imminently failing eyes.

The best part is that he blew out his eyes before he could even fully master Susano'o. He was about to bring it to what Itachi had but then nope....

I'd probably say he's about 95% blind right now given how he could kinda still see Kakashi. Other than that the chapter went almost how I thought it would besides Sasuke being able to raegactivate Mangekyo one last time.

Well it wasn't completely sudden. There were instances in previous chapters where his vision went blurry and such.

And I'm almost completely sure that the Sauce going blind is a part of Madara's plan. Put Sasuke through all these fights so that he overuses his sharingan, and then has no choice but to implant Itachi's eyes. Sasuke then obtains the Eternal Mangekyou, which plays some part in Madara's little Moon plan.

I just wish Kakashi and Sasuke had a bit more of a regular fight before Sasuke went all emo and tried using his Mangekyou again. Would've liked to see them two go at it.

On the plus side though, Naruto looks all sorts of pissed. Which is a great thing.

That does make a bit of sense. Wasn't Madara all pissy about Nagato believing in the power of friendship with Naruto and reviving Konoha? Since that Jutsu was supposedly meant for him, or whatnot?

Thank god Kishimoto isn't Kubo. Otherwise there'd be some weird bullshit where Madara takes control of Sasuke, implants new eyes that, instead of becoming the Eternal Mangekyo, become the Rinnegan.
