Okay, we get it Kishi. Naruto and Sasuke love each other but due to outside circumstances their families won't allow them to marry, tragically forbidding their love. I don't think it was that bad. Naruto at least realizes now that the only way to stop Sauske is to fight him. He's not being as naive as I thought he was gonna be. The whole "we're both gonna die" thing seems a little confusing as kishi is setting the stage for the inevitable final fight between them. Odd how that's gonna turn out given what naruto just said about the outcome. And when did madara get a rinnegan? Konan never went back to akatsuki with nagato's body.

Nah what actually happens is in the ninja world, instead of checking the organ donor box on the back of their license, they check the eye donor box. Madara is just the guy who collects them post-mortem.

I'm reading it as less 'I'm choosing to die with you' and more 'if we fight we will draw and kill each other' since they are both too stubborn to back down and are evenly matched in ability.

Naruto is fighting sasuke at 1/3 power (2 clones at least are running near kakashi) so really there's no realistic way to consider this fight even dangerous to naruto right now if he stopped acting stupid.
TLDR:
Naruto is only in danger because he's literally crippling his chakra by 1/3 and even then sasuke cons even match at best.

So, we saw what happened when Hinata got killed. Naruto wtf-flipped out and popped a serious warrior enrage and blood fury.

The Sauce nearly kills Sakura and all Naruto does is try another impassioned speech? Yeah, I know Sasuke was a friend and Nagato wasn't, but its still bullshit. Naruto should have pulled a Gai - punch Sasuke through a few trees in a single blow, and THEN give the impassioned speech with tears in his eyes.

Sauske has no reason to listen to any Naruto logic because, ever since the fight on the hospital (and even then, the sauce still had the advantage in pure tajutsu), Naruto has been weaker than Sasuke. Sauce-boy won't respect anyone weaker than him. Naruto's best bet is to beat the living hell out of him, and then lecture him.

This running into each other with specials is as boring as watching two warriors with juggernaut charge one another and miss over and over.

Hm, Madara going for the Rinnegan for the eye socket we haven't seen or does he plan to replace both his eyes with Rinnegan?

I guess they'll make him all powerful if he has one of each eye... replacing both eyes wouldn't be very Uchiha.

To be fair, Naruto had the right idea back at the valley of the end, where he said he was going to break the Sauce's legs and drag him back to the village (which would have been the manliest act ever performed by a child ever), but the Sauce received a hax powerup and plotkaied his way out of that.

I think that fight with Nagato really changed Naruto. Before that fight, he was content to really fight to kill when he deemed someone as a person that needed to be stopped. Hearing Nagato's story, though, changed him. Now he wants to be an orator and try to change the world (just like as a kid, but back then he only did it because he wasn't strong enough to physically win those fights on his own).

That's not going to work on someone like the Sauce. He may have little blips of compassion, like we saw in this chapter, but sometimes a little tough love is better than brotherly love.

Maybe another killer bee clothesline from hell (Bradshaw would have had a tear in his eye watching that) might snap some sense into the Sauce, but letting him pull a Bower, throw a potion on the ground, and slip into the door while cursing at the Mari-err... team 7 isn't going to do much.

Well, here comes some logic for those faces. Sauce got ROCKED by killer bee with a single clothesline. Now, naruto has access to kyuubi rage (sup) and frog katas. If he gets those hybrid eyes rocking? There isn't a jutsu Sauce can conjure up that will stop the destructive force of that combination, ESPECIALLY if more than 3 tails come out to say hi.

Unless there are more secrets to the Byakugan and/or a powered up version, Sharingan seems to have far more advantages. Also, need to be willing and/or capable of using gentle fist style to truly take advantage of having it beyond seeing chakra and far away etc.

Because Kidomaru exposed and exploited their weakness. Also because the Hyuuga, and everyone else not an Uchiha, is essentially filler at this point.

It's always been Byakugan < Sharingan < Rinnegan, I think I remember them explaining the whole evolution thing a few times across the series. Why would Madara want the least-evolved eyes anyway?

Final filler episode made me sad , oh well. BTW there's no new episode of the anime for two weeks from now. Next one will probably be the grieving of Jiraiya's death, code-breaking discussion and Naruto leaving to go and train in Senjutsu.
