Was rewatching the first few Naruto episodes and I realized the answer to this. Sasuke was Naruto's first kiss.

And Orochimaru was his second.
I was really hoping those spoilers were fake.![]()

Just seems like some stupid shit a certain main antagonist who specializes in illusions would do. In my opinion, all this does is create plot-holes because I fail to see a solid explanation for the whole Kisame/Bee fight. Time will tell I guess but both Bleach and Naruto seem to be on retard mode this week.
Oh FMA, how you spoil me.

Illusionist villians are needed in these types of "comics". Western comics do the same things: whenever someone crafts an epic tale about people with crazy-ass powers from all over the place, plotholes will come up. They always either have some guy that can just say "nuh uh" with their illusion powers, or they'll just do the American thing and reboot the series every time the plot just gets fucking retarded.
Naruto has Orochimaru and Akatsuki (especially Itachi), and Bleach has Aizen. Any plothole can simply be filled by the classic "Nah bro, that was a bunshin" line, or "Sorry man, you were in a genjutsu" and the reader will be forced to accept it.
There are a bunch of good series that make do without that bullshit, it's far from "needed", it's just a lazy ploy on the mangaka's part
I'd be willing to go with 2, maybe. After the Sauce got fucked up fighting Killer Bee, I think Madara and Kisame (or maybe Madara) had an idea that the 8-tails couldn't be taken too lightly. I originally didn't like the idea because it seems like Kisame went in with the belief he couldn't take out the 8-tails.And Hirokei, I think there are viable explanations for the whole Bee/Kisame fight. For example... 1) The plan from the start was to feign the fight and Kisame's death to lull Bee into a false sense of security, then capture him by surprise... or 2) Kisame and Zetsu switched places mid-fight because Kisame was having some difficulty. They then went to plan B, which is to catch Bee by surprise via the plan mentioned in 1.
However, Zetsu HAS been around watching most Akatsuki fights in some shape or form, so it's not improbable that he was there from the start.
As to why he stepped in for Kisame and not the others.. maybe Sharky's more valuable than the rest in Madara's eyes, or maybe he feels like they can't really afford many more losses.
I dunno. On one hand I'm glad he isn't dead. On the other hand I feel like it's cheap.
Either way, Akatsuki's gonna have to open up apps again soon.
I'm thinking that he is actually going after the Raikage, who is the definite de facto leader between of the other nations against Madara. Convince Bee he's dead> Bee takes Samehada> Kill Raikage> possibly replace him with boushin/madara using genjustu> take the hachbi
a more coherent story?

One Piece doesn't take itself seriously enough to need any bullshit plothole-escaping abilities. The series is a great series, but doesn't try to be anything like Naruto, Superman, Bleach, or any of those other "serious" manga/comics.
Once Piece is One Piece, and for what it is and tries to be, its absolutely brilliant. I never much liked the beginnings because it was too "silly" for me, but the latest arcs have captivated me, especially when I am able to see what happens to the series when it becomes serious.
Once Piece is a refreshing breath of air, and even though I don't like everything about it, it's an excellent manga, and seriously bucks more than a few trends.
