Hidan is still alive, just in pieces buried in the forest.

Also as stated earlier Tobi was an underling of probably Zetsu before he was a full member so it is probable Kabuto already knew him as Tobi, or he's just trying to fuck with him and tell him he knows wtf he has been up to from spying etc

Where was it shown that Kankuro has Sasori's puppet body?

also,

A) Incapable of losing chakra from using jutsu, and therefore allowed to spam for all eternity?
B) Tied into the maximum chakra reserve of the summoner, and thus stronger when the summoner is stronger?
C) Linked to the chakra of the summoner, thus using the summoner's chakra to use their own high level jutsu?
D) Summoned with their own supply of chakra which can be exhausted like anyone elses?

D. Everything else seems kinda mheh.

Nope . Hidan is dead. Kishimoti explicitly stated that in a data book but not in the actual manga. The whole immortality thing he has going on doesn't last forever. It's tied into his technique which eventually wears off. I'll have to double check this thread or something for confirmation. or you can too I suppose.

If Hidan was dead then I really don't see why Kabuochimaru wouldn't bring him back either. I know his immortality would be useless at this point but that voodoo shit would still be useful in certain situations imo. Not only that but Hidan said something along the lines of "I'mma get out and eat your face off etc etc" in the anime (and manga?) implying that his immortality isn't a temporary sort of thing.

But anyways, I giggled at Kabuochimaru making friends with other villains. I smell some backstabbing (perhaps Kabuochimaru wanting to take Sasuke's body as his own because there is some sick underlying theme of wanting an emo boy's body?)

1. Is releasing the 9tails ("You can free the kyuubi if you want."). There's no mention of controlling it just by virtue of releasing it.

Which is why I think whatever it is jiraya wanted completed is just something that lets him control it after releasing it. Especially given how that was mentioned like two or three times in this issue alone.

I was always under the assumption that 'that' jutsu was the fox's cloak that's omega powerfuul but uncontrollable. I mean it does make sense.
