Considering Madara's reaction to the coffin, his brother is the only one that makes sense to me out of those options. I can't see Madara acting all shocked and surprised just from having Danzo or Jiraiya in the coffin. Originally Posted by Artemas

Awesome episodes this week... couldn't stop laughing when Naruto threw the statute...
Also, I've never quite understood why people are always saying "No one is able to defeat X", in this case Pain. But say... if the three Sannins were to team up against him wouldn't they be able to? So wouldn't the more correct statement be, "No -single- person can defeat X?".
I've always been under the impression 10 weaklings can still defeat a powerful foe.. or 100 vs 1... never quite understood the logic this anime goes over time and time again.
Reminds me of Magic: The Gathering.. or was it Tetra Master.. or maybe even pokemon lol. Where a card couldn't defeated by no matter how many cards you used unless one of those cards was more powerful then the card they were up against ahahah

I can't help but think that the Sage of the Six Paths is in the coffin (not to be confused with Six Paths of Pain). They have after all made him out to be bs strong since he is considered to be the father of all jutsu so that could possibly have Madara shitting himself?
That or its the First Hokage since he did kick the shit out of Madara when he attacked the village with the nine tailed fox on his side and beat him. . . . . .but I like the brother/Jiraiya/tank idea better! Aizen is acceptable also.

Is it possible for him to summon 1st hokage? I thought his soul was sealed by Death against Oro vs third hokage. I thought that's why oro couldn't summon the 4th unless I read it wrong. Originally Posted by Zilo

Orochimaru wasn't able to summon the 4th because the 3rd stopped the coffin from coming up and opening which leads me to believe that just because Death eats your soul doesn't mean you can't bring it back via Forbidden Jutsu. Originally Posted by samalis

Hinata, Ino and Sakura were fighting Konan in it and we all know it's the Aburame family that fights Konan.
Sai was fighting Asura path in it, and we all know he was M.I.A. during the fight (probably underground with ANBU Root and Danzo).
Naraka Path was fighting the group of Ninja who are supposed to initially fight Preta Path(before he goes off to fight Kiba and his mom). We all knkow Naraka fights Ebisu and Konohamaru.
Animal Path's summons also do not fight Gamabunta til they arrive with Naruto. Also Naruto doesn't fight Deva Path head on when he arrives, he talks to Katsuyu to get intel from her, after killing Asura Path and he starts off fighting the Human/Preta/Animal Paths. But yeah they're just hypothetical fights (what if so and so fought so and so).
Remember the last opening of Naruto had Jiraiya fighting Pain on top of Gamaken or something, and that didn't happen now did it
? The opening only really spoilers Pain's abilities (animated). Hopefully we get extended fillers in the fights though. I want them to extend Kakaxhi vs Deva Path, extend Kiba and his mom vs Preta Path, and extend Konan vs the Aburame Family. They don't need to extend Konohamaru and Ebisu vs Naraka Path though, that one was long enough lol.
P.S. We also got a preview of Naruto's male Japanese voice actor in this episode, he sounds like a really deep voice lol, wonder who will do it in the English version?
