So you're saying he tried to get in her foxhole?
So you're saying he tried to get in her foxhole?
Kushina is actually the true form of the kyuubi.
dun dun dunnn.
But, really, when did the 4th find the time to do all of this during the sealing of the kyuubi? He sealed it (which should have been when he died,) put it in Naruto, put a little bit of his chakra in Naruto so that if it ever weakens he'll appear, and then now his mom slipped in somehow lol.
I'm thinking it works the same way the 4th's re-seal thing works. If Naruto ever decided to control the kyuubi, he'd meet her.
Very curious to see what's going on here, because my initial thought is Kishi is pulling shit out of nowhere for the sake of shock value with this.
It could very well be that the fourth alone was not enough of a "sacrifice" for the sealing technique. So Kushina had to use her chakra/life for the jutsu to work. And thus both of Naruto's parents sacrificed themselves to seal the Kyuubi into Naruto. It makes sense to me. And really I don't know how else you could put in a bit with Naruto's mother, since she had to be dead.
Yeah, I could see that too.
And I take back that last part in what you quoted after reading the chapter. I think Kushina stepping in is the 2nd part in the re-sealing thing, activating when the Kyuubi is actually succeeding in taking over.
Anyways, that was a really good chapter. Loved the Spirit Bomb lol.
Would it be safe to assume that this inner Kyuubi is a lot weaker than the physical form? Because if Konoha as a whole could not do what Naruto just did, then what the fuck. How did someone not take them over or something before? I mean, I realize Naruto is a beast, but really.
aww hell naww..
Uhh, Pein wrecked the fuck out of Konoha and Naruto came out and took out 3 or 4 of Pein? Naruto is a fucking monster in comparison to most other ninja in the world by now, ESPECIALLY when it comes to chakra and raw power. Most other ninja that could beat him do it because of skill with jutsu, when it comes to stamina and power Naruto is top notch.
And I'd bet the Kyuubi attacking is basically immune to most lower-mid class ninja just because of his chakra. So only the elite could even do anything to the Kyuubi. As well, we don't really know if no one else was involved in the attack.
As an aside, has a tailed beast ever been killed? CAN they be killed? Are they immortal beings and thus can only be sealed? If so, there isn't a whole lot a village could do without a seal specialist of a high caliber to take out a tailed beast.
That, and the fact that it's only half of the Kyuubi's chakra sealed in Naruto.
I have to admit; Naruto is a boss with sage training. He can keep multiple clones out, still have access to making new clones, has sage-augmented strength, stamina, speed and chakra access.
That was a massive, massive rasengan, and for once, all of his moves hit, even though they didn't put down the finishing blow.
When he subdues and merges his own, Kyubi's, and his sage chakra... Jesus. I hope you keep getting lame powerups, Sasuke, because you'll need them. Plus he has a far stronger will than Sasuke, who can be broken the second someone starts talking shit about his clan or his resolve.
Spoiler: show
"Orange Flash" is here to dominate. Like a boss!
First Rhinos now Kyuubi goes flying
Genkidama rasengan ftw.
I dunno if she's Kyubi per-se, but I think she's like Minato was: another fragment inside of Naruto's psyche/seal that is designed to reinforce him when he falters.
Obviously no one man is enough to contain the Kyubi, but when he succumbs to hatred or other emotions of anguish, having his parents there to "set him right" can obviously help him resist and defeat the kyubi.
I can't see it as her being some merged form of the Kyubi like Schala and Lavos were in Chrono Cross.
It fits with the design of the seal as far as I'm aware. The seal is supposed to work similar to what the 3rd used on Orochimaru, right? The "cost" of using that jutsu was the shinigami would eat your own soul to lock up what you were using it on. So that basically means the user of the jutsu is in the seal itself. Or at least partially in some manner.
More likely the 9-tails is the one that killed Kushina (did they ever say how she died?) and maybe her spirit/soul whatever stuck with it.
Finally made a rasengan (seemingly) without a clone and a giant one at that.
nvm.
