I almost want to guess that Kushina was the previous Jinchuriiki. Doesn't totally line up, but that association with the nine tails and that it's sort of been explained that jinchuriikis have to have a close tie to the village leaders/kages....I dunno, I think we're gonna find out more.

Then she's nothing like Sakura at all!Well, he has been spending time with her this whole time and she seems like Sakura, just less useless. MUCH less useless.

Sakura doesn't have enough of a personality narrated so far for that conclusion tbh although I admit the hair made me think that for a second. You see bits of it here and there but you really have to search for Sakura's defining personality traits/Quirks while Kushina's are easier to spot.
Essentially any woman that gets angry at Naruto and has pink/reddish hair qualifies as Sakura like if Kushina is like Sakura.

My heart is filled with glee atm. I just imaged what it would be like if Sasuke tried to invade Naruto's head again only to get ambushed by his mom and forced to attend a tea party or something.(ps Sasuke's head is the coaster.)

yeah it was a good back story none the less. his dad was a fucking gangster. he would kill shinobis and not think twice about it unlike his little hot headed son, lol. but its cool to see it progress like this
