^ Naruto just became the strongest character in the show, that's what. Naruto's normal freakishly high stamina + full access to kyuubi chakra while moving + full access to sage chakra while standing still.

If you want to take it a step farther, he has now met and made peace with both of his parents AND, most importantly, he's about to make peace with himself, his past, how he came to be, and what he needs to do in the future.

He took his chakra, not his body. The body is still inside of him, it's just that Naruto has FULL control of his chakra now and Kyuubi can't say shit about it.

actually i was under the impression from the 3rd vs orochimaru fight that you dont NEED the original bodies as you use a sacrifice to summon them instead so origami chick still has the body.

so the Kyuubi was originally part of the 10 tails, which was sealed inside the sage of the 6 paths, so idk if that little mention of the sage was some former memory of being sealed within the sage of the 6 paths body? he could control the 10 tails like bee could the 8, and now Naruto the 9.
That's my only guess anyway.

It's too bad Kishi wont allow Naruto to be this badass outside his mind realm. He'll either hax Sasuke to compare to Naruto as a perfect Jinchuriki or drag Naruto down to compare to Sasuke. I want them to fight and get it over with and pray to white jesus he gives us a Minato-gaiden!

Part of me just hopes the way it works is that Madara can still "control" the Kyuubi's chakra, thus severely compromising Naruto. So Sasuke comes in and counter's Madara and lets Naruto loose so he kills him. I don't really know how Naruto vs Sasuke is going to go down, lol. Other than a secret "I'm really on your side, just play along with this" went down in their last meeting, they're going to have a grand ole battle. I guess during the fight is when madara could step in and in a dying breath Sasuke frees Naruto from Madara's hax and that fits my original hope.

One thing to note is that while he now controls the nine tails chakra (or apparently, most of it) he doesn't exactly have the nine tails on his side yet like Bee does. Does this mean he's still susceptible to genjutsu without somebody else there?

His mother being the previous host makes sense to me, since absolutely nothing has been mentioned about that point in time I don't see how anything will have to be retconned.

What interests me most is the markings on naruto after he absorbed the chakra, along with how his body looked. Not to mention him using a sealing technique that apparently comes from the sage of six paths..

I doubt she simply lost control, I get the impression her unique chakra was the reason for which she became a host.

We saw Sasuke intervene as Naruto was interacting with the kyubi, after which he seemed to suppress it's chakra.

What if it works both ways, and an Uchiha can forcibly release the kyubi as well as suppress it? I'd wager it was Madara behind it.
