Just watched 166, lol. That look on Naruto's face when Pain "killed" Hinata was fuckin' awesome. BOSS-MODE NIGGA. RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN.

Fucking this! My favorite part of the episode.

Episode was awesome, I think it did a way better job then the manga at displaying the emotion of the situation. They finally stepped up the animation too. Getting her ass whooped or not, Hinata was a boss with that double fist move.

hinata's death/injury affected me in absolutely no way compared to jiraiya/asuma i was literally holding back tears during those deaths. hinata was like '*sigh boss mode needs to hurry up*'

I remember the anime hit a filler after the whole Gaara being taken and killed for the tailed beast. Does anyone know exactly when the filler stopped unless I'm retarded and there was no filler =x.

Kinda wanna pick up the anime again to see the Naruto/Pain fight.

my fav female in the series is obviously karin, because she wears glasses, and is a fucking boss. hinata fits the stereotype of every anime "i have a crush on the male lead and shy about it" personality. nothing new, too boring and hardly humorous. like EVER. i think once they had a little skit at the end of the show that made me almost want to move the nerve muscles in my mouth and possibly smile.

well imo, for one thing. i actually like her (karin)because she HAS some moments that can make you actually.. you know.. chuckle. she's humorous. she has unique powers, and her character design is fucking flawless. she stands out soooo much in this series imo compared to other anime's. and im willing to bet she's actually a good guy now. her voice acting is top notch, and her role in the series is very minuscule, so for someone to stand out like that TO ME, is impressive to say the least.

as for the episode: what the fuck. How the hell are gonna kill off this many people? I don't care that she was sort-of subpar as a ninjy and never really had a lot of focus in the story, but she died protecting him and she confessed her love without blushing or throwing up all over him. That kills me that she died, I can't believe it. The entire episode I was getting grumpy because of the flash-backs and wasted time, thinking the episode wouldn't go anywhere, and in the last few minutes they just drop this fucking bomb with Naruto being completely helpless. Now my emotional investment consists of wanting to see Naruto eat Pain's face.
