Karin is annoying because she was the personification of all the Sasuke loving fangirls. She gets some points for wanting to ditch him at the end but not enough to justify 100 chapters of being the equivalent of an Edward loving Twilight retard.
Hinata actually tried to do something useful so I give her the nod for being the best female. Sakura hasn't done anything significant since the Sasori fight; she broke down and just began crying the one time she could have redeemed herself by offing Sasuke.... and needed to get rescued last second
I like Karin I want to see more from her, and Suigetsu![]()
Sakura had the chance to be a really good female character but that got ruined by story writing. Tsunade is awesome too, or rather, she was, we don't see anything from her now that she is Hokage.
As for Hinata I honestly don't know what people see in her.
It'd be freaky to be with a girl that has white eyes but it can be like a wild alien fantasy or something.
Just kind of a personal thing. Wasn't exactly the most popular person growing up, so the concept of girl seeing past all the other crap kids threw at me and still liking what's there holds appeal. Expanding on that, she'd probably be pretty damn loyal and might do damn near anything to please if you suggest it the right way. Her rack seems more like a fanart indulgence thing than actual artist rendering, but I wouldn't object to the size of above (or bigger).
If I just wanted to argue with a chick, I'd call my sister.
There are a few reasons I like Hinata, and I still think she has potential as a character, but they haven't done much with her that's worthwhile. Worst part is I doubt they ever will. Even after she finally spit it out, nothing came of it and flow of the narrative doesn't seem to be leading towards Naruto considering his romantic options.
It's difficult to peg down a good female character in Naruto because either they're just bit character (Tenten) or their motivations are centered around another, usually male, character (everyone else). As much as I like Hinata, she falls pretty heavily into the later category.
Sakura has already proven she's a failure as a strong female lead; Even if she grows a pair in the future, we already know she didn't really learn to better herself emotionally over the timeskip while Naruto is very clearly becoming an adult. A silly adult like Jiraiya (or at best, Kakashi, though I doubt it), but an adult nonetheless.
In terms of clarity and maturity, I think Ino is the best of the young girls. She even inches ahead of Tsunade, considering the fact that Ino is still mostly self-centered (though she now tempers it more with duty) and all of Tsunade's motivations are centered around her brother or her old boyfriend. Tenten might have gotten this spot if she were characterized worth a damn. Chinese motif + shitload of weapons + Girl =/= a fully developed personality.
Hinata COULD be the best female lead, but she has to grow out of the shyness thing and be generally more decisive. She did confess, but it WAS a life or death situation and you don't get a chance to say such things after you eat it (well...usually, anyway ¬¬). If she grew out of her old persona, it would show at least as much emotional growth as Naruto. Right now, she's still pretty flat ( :D ), but if she mad a decision that had nothing to do with Naruto while simultaneously proving she can actually DO something, that would set her miles ahead of pretty much every other female in the series.
1) She's an outcast. While yeah, she's the main branch, she has all but been kicked out of her family and she was too shy to really get along with anyone in school. So she sits in the corner alone a lot. People can associate with that.
2) She's fighting to change herself. Lots of people want to change who they are, she's trying to change who she is.
3) She likes Naruto, an outcast. What loser/geek that's never had much social success wouldn't love a girl to randomly crush on him?
4) She's a girl and her fighting style is both fluid and awesome/graceful but hand-to-hand, commonly seen as the most badass of fighting styles.
5) The only non-Sasuke fanboy of the entire generation.
Not all are really why I like her, but just brainstorming why others might.
The only thing that would suck about Hinata is that she would know every time you popped a chub.
That episode was pretty well done, the animations were all nice and Hinata's death was moving. I actually like the Hinata we saw in that episode and genuinely felt bad for her.
Got bored so I went through some of the old data books and found this.

Rock lee Spring time of youth!
I've always liked Hinata since her fight with Neji. That shit broke my heart back then, i was like what 15 when i first saw it. That whole underdog angle always appeals to me.
Akamaru and Gamabunta, lol awesome
I was just rewatching the latest episode.. and I couldn't figure out why Hinata was cutting the poles off of Naruto...
I mean, shit is still gonna keep him in there whether its 10 feet long or 5 feet long
