I know who Yamato is. I didn't know who Yatamo is.
I know who Yamato is. I didn't know who Yatamo is.
Oh well, I fucked up, I guess that means you shouldn't listen to me. :D
Keep your elitist PIEISINFERIOR outta' this thread you dumb CAKEISDELICIOUS, this isn't General. Talk about Naruto, not who knows more about Naruto and hurrdurrderpaderp. Fucking buttbabies.
I approve of this message.
Yes, we should definitely talk about naruto only and not about what people should do or think.
You're an idiot, you know exactly what I meant. I will rape you until the room stinks of ass. Don't ruin this thread.
Okay, ignoring everything that transpired over the past four-ish hours...
... am I the only one what more than a little emotional over this chapter? From the moment Minato saved Kushina from "KYUBI SMASH!" to the time he lay her down next to the infant Naruto, I was all choked up. The tearful, exhausted look on her face as she turned to Naruto felt pretty fucking powerful. She knew full well that she was going to die right in front of her baby.
And the look on Minato's face after the kyubi was released was vicious. He was out for blood (understandably).
I found myself on the edge of my seat hoping Minato would stop Madara, re-seal the kyubi, and save the day... and immediately got depressed when I remembered that this was just a flashback. I suppose it's more tragic to me since we already know the outcome, and that there's no changing it.
I agree Sun. The chapter felt very strong and well done. I'm really looking forward to the next few. Feel sorry for the whole Naruto family![]()
I don't really get why people try to speculate about this kind of thing. Double the fact when they guess totally asinine things in hopes of "Calling it". My wife does this shit with movies all the time, she can't just enjoy the fucking movie she has to guess the ending for 30 mins in hopes of "Calling it". Just enjoy the fucking manga.
Yeah, this chapter was incredibly well-written to help drive the emotion along with the art.

This page to me was the chapter in a nutshell, from Kushina's weakened state to Minato's pent-up rage. I'm glad I've been ignoring the spoilers for the past two weeks. You know this shit is going to be a tear-jerker come anime time.
That's the thing, though. They -were- innocent at that time. Remember what Mikoto said. She wanted Naruto and Sasuke to be the best of friends. Everything should have turned out peacefully. Naruto should have been raised by his parents, and turned out to be strong. Sasuke, and by default, Itachi, were supposed to be in loving families and raised to be strong ninja.
Madara fucked everything up. Everything. Its crazy just how much one man can influence a story. He fucked up the Hidden Mist, helped to form Akatsuki, fucked over Konoha quite a few times, and altered (basically shattered) the lives of both main characters, as well as many people they know.
I can't wait to see him get his comeuppance.
no anime this week it seems, dbl episodes next tho
cool no episode this week
Sasuke I can understand, since he's kind of a hard-headed little fuck totally unwilling to pick up on shit everyone else has, but Itachi?
Itachi had a harder lot, and easily a bigger heart. I think the Sharingan and Uchiha are overexposed, but Itachi ain't that bad.
Let's not forget his hand in the creation of Zabuza, and thereby Zabuza's eventual fate.
Though badass as Zabuza was, I think we can consider that a credit on Madara's end.
like i said, 2 gangster ass shinobis never afraid to kill w/o thinking twice about it. 4th and madara are gonna make UFC fights look like thumb wrestling.
edit: one fight i wish they animated was the fight with madara and 1st. that would've tickled my fancy
There's no double episode next week, but there is a couple weeks from now to promote the new Naruto movie coming out on the 29th.
I would LOVE to see that fight, but it is one that i'm not sure they will ever do because of letting down their fans. Its one of those fights they built up in the fans mind as one of the most epic fights ever, and to show it would kill any imagination fights fans have in their head as to how it went down.
