Who is Naruto suppose to fight at this point? Madara doesn't seem impressive enough to actually give him a fight and there's only three villains left really (Zetsu, Madara, Sasuke, cause we all know Kisame is dead).

Kabutops/Orochimaru with his dead akatski guys.
Maybe they'll take a page from Capcom and make Naruto fight all the bosses again.

He's just super fast, he still needs to learn the flying thunder god technique or whatever it is. Pretty much every manga where someone gets this speed upgrade, they face somebody just as fast eventually and its as if the speed upgrade was pointless.

Naruto evolved however in a more or less steady way, with a couple much needed upgrades (Jiraiya breaking orochimaru's hax on the seal, clone training and sage training) and even then, Sauce has been slightly ahead.

In fact I would have complained if he didn't got a power-up, same with Luffy this coming up arc.

Chapter was great. Gai's whole inner-self portion was awesome lol. I would love to see a proper ending between Gai and Kisame in the next chapter or two.

Something that's bugging me though. Does this chapter mean the hachibi was always on the side of good or at the very least had a gentle nature? Kind of odd how Naruto's controlled kyuubi chakra would allow him to sense evil intentions and hatred yet Bee's hachibi chakra was clueless about Kisame.

No one complains because Naruto didn't start out stupidly strong, he progressed. He wasn't already more powerful than everyone in the manga combined with victories out of his ass that became more and more implausible.

Sasuke only seems to have the ability to sheild himself with that troll looking thing, which I'm not sure if it could stand some of Naruto's rasengan spams at this point, shoot fire from his eyes which isn't that great, and genjustu. Naruto is faster and stronger by far now as well as having a ridiculous amount more energy.

Kabuto/Orochimaru is pretty boring to me, never liked that Kabuto guy. As a final fight he would seem weird.

I feel Kishi may be rushing to the end which has made the last few power ups to close. Think he would have done better to have added a few more arc here and there. All those secondary characters in the first half which managed to build up a fan base have been left out and there isn't even any space for them anymore. Am I the only one that thinks Gai is sort of being squeezed in to the story here for a last fight?

What a great chapter. Gai being...Gai and Naruto looking awesome and almost using the yellow flash technique so quick was a nice bonus, I'm sure he will get even better at it in time.
