Naruto is going to unlock the rinnengan later in the manga.
No the Sage of Six Paths had Rinnegan not the first hokage who was the one who first fought against the Uchiha. The Uchiha inherited the eyes AKA sharigan from the Sage and the Senju AKA Naruto's "clan" inherited the Sage's body/chakra which is the form I'm betting we're seeing right now with Naruto. Only way I see Naruto getting Rinnegan is if someone stronger than Madara and Sasuke put together shows up.
Haha, I actually believed in this for a while. It's now magnified by this current chapter. Actually to move this even further, Naruto is starting to assume the form of The Sage of Six Paths. He would just need bead necklace and shakujō and Rinnegan to look the part.
I actually believe that Sasuke's eyes will evolve into Rinnegan as well, albeit an "incomplete" version. Speaking of Sasuke, I believe he is still ahead, despite Naruto's amazing power boost. Do not downplay that hax that is Susanoo'o. Hell, Izanagi that Sasuke saw (and probably learned automatically) from Danzo.
Every Uchiha can use Izanagi, but they have to learn it yes. It's a Kinjutsu (forbidden jutsu) because once they use it to cast the genjutsu on themselves to dodge critical attacks, they become blind. With Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan the user supposedly never goes blind right? OR Is Izanagi always guaranteed that the eye or eyes will go blind, meh who knows. Sasuke's main flaw is he has no regenerative skills, no medical ninja, no medical ninjutsu to heal himself with. Naruto just has to land 1 critical blow and Sasuke is toast.
Meh Hulu sucks quality wise, and it has advertisements, go to here:
www.narutospot.net
Looks a ton better, and has EVERY (part 1 and part 2) episode ever made, including some long OMAKE episodes. It has english and japanese versions too. BTW the subbed versions of the episodes have better quality than the dubbed, so only watch the dubb if you hate reading subtitles. But anyways, this website has every episode, not many do, and if they do, they usually have commercials in them (like hulu) that interrupt the show.
I don't forsee Naruto getting the Rinnegan, the SSJ 3 form we saw him take is probably about as far as it goes, since his side of the family tree (or sorts) inherited the Sage's "body." Sasuke seems to me as the the most likely Rinnegan successor, perhaps even gaining that eye possessed by the juubi (the one with concentric rings inlaid with tomoe).
Naruto's new form looks to be a sort of "senjutsu +1," something even more powerful than what the frogs taught him, what with being able to sense emotion, and moving almost as fast as teleportation. He may not even need frog senjutsu anymore. He may not even have to worry about it's time limit.
The one thing I lament about manga is the lack of color, which is why I was happy Killer Bee described Naruto's movements as he was intercepting Kisame. The yellow aura he appears to exude seems reminiscent of a previous interview with Kishimoto, who explained that Naruto was always meant to have the uncommon yellow chakra, which was sort of discarded after the anime went their own way with it.
I would imagine that if Madara can dodge attacks with his eyes, that Sasuke will obviously learn how to do the same.
Has the title of this thread always been "Naruto is Black!"?
It was changed around the time Naruto started trying to get the black vote in the manga. ;o
Also in the new chapters Killerbee is acting rly rly black for some reason
I made a post about it as soon as it happend. >_>
He's had to take his lumps, though, so its awesome. Aizen has been in god-mode since before the series started. Naruto was a failure at first, then constantly overshadowed by the Sauce on a constant basis. When he finally holds his own in the public eye, akatsuki shows up to ruin his fun.
Now he's finally earned everyone's respect and recieved a godmodding powerup to boot. Its WTFbroken, yeah, but its still fresh because it doesn't happen to him all the time and everyone loves seeing a failure "make it" in the end.
Plus, he's earned this shit. Both of his parents died as he was born, he got half of a raging demon stuck in his belly, the village hated him, the chakra fucked with his control, making him all but useless in the beginning, he inherited his mother's terrible schooling habits, and he had to constantly be compared to, and overshadowed by Mr. Perfect himself, Sasuke.
Naruto can be a boss from now to the end of the series and I'll never complain, because unlike Sauce-boy, who we've still never seen a "true" training arc dedicated to, earned this shit.
Anyone know if there's a camrip of The Lost Tower out anywhere?
In my opinion, that would seriously be a shame for Naruto to have no use for the sage mode techniques anymore; if only because they were Jiraya's and the fact that spending so much time learning them would have pretty much been for naught (if it weren't for Pain). What does give me some hope, though, is the fact that we have seen the mixing of the fox's chakra and sage mode before when Naruto faced the real Pain. So hopefully at some point in the near future we can see a mixing of sage mode an this new form to create some power on a ridiculous scale. On that note, do you think it'll now be possible for Ma & Pa to fuse with Naruto (if that would even be an asset at this point)?
I think it was merely the presence of the fox that made it impossible for them to do it; meaning if naruto is in control or not wouldn't matter.
From what Kishi showed us during the Naruto/Kyuubi fight, sage mode isn't going anywhere.
Naruto just said that he doesn't naturally draw on his fox chakra, and we've seen how patient naruto has become with fighting, lashing out only when he actually has the advantage instead of just through rage and impulsiveness.
We've also seen the level of power that sage mode brings, like that awesome scene with the kage bunshin rasengan barrage that turned into an chou oodama rasengan barrage. That move is absolutely sickening, and with power like that, the only times I'd really imagine him eschewing sage mode is just like with what we just saw; when fights spring up on him and he has no time to gather energy.
Sage mode represents the penultimate in tactical fighting - the recognition that preemptive planning leads to success in a battle, and I don't think we'll see naruto regress into this brash and impulsive fighter, simply because he now has full control of Kyuubi's vast reserves.
The thing is, he is using senjutsu, just not the frog-specific version that he learned. It's simply upgrading, using a technique powered from without, to utilizing the same technique, powered from within. I doubt Jiraiya or the frogs would fault him for moving on to something more powerful, rather, they'd encourage it.
Of course, this assumes this new senjutsu carries all the properties of the frog version. We know drawing on the kyubi chakra makes him faster and more perceptive, but is he stronger now? Is he as durable as with frog senjutsu? Can he utilize the Rasen Shuriken without penalty? If not, then frog senjutsu still has a place.
But, I suspect this new senjutsu might outclass the frog versions in all parameters. Naruto never needed a quiet moment to access the kyubi chakra when he lacked control, I don't see why it would be more difficult now that he has that control. Given the powers Naruto manifested in the recent chapter, I'd say that fusion with ma and pa might be redundant by this point.
I wonder what you would call it. "Biju senjutsu?"
