Yay Guy is gonna fight again, been waiting for that for so damn long now man. Also, the fact that Naruto is even more badass now is jizzworthy.

The fox still has the eviler half of his chakra somewhere. Makes no sense fore the fox to become just a chakra battery.
I'm under the assumption that "that" jutsu is the rasenshuriken. Is there any evidence otherwise?
Wrong.
Half of the entire kyuubi's chakra is sealed away with the fourth. There is no "good" and "bad" side of the fox. He is just straight up pure essence of evil. Naruto gained control over the fox's chakra, thus making him a chakra battery. Naruto locked up the fox's "evil will."
I thought we were done with this "ying and yang" bullshit with the fox sealing?
Not only that why in the hell would rasen shuriken be "that jutsu" when he clearly has mastered it and it would do absolutely nothing to someone who can use time and space jutsu. It's very likely "that jutsu" is the Yondaime's Flying Thunder God Technique because it is a space time technique thus perfect for fighting against Madara. Why he needs the Fox's chakra I'm not sure but apart from learning Flying Thunder God then it's probably going to be something completely different. There's always the option that Jiraiya may have taught Naruto something but was never able to remotely finish.
Where are you connecting 'that jutsu' with Madara? The only time we see it referenced is when Naruto is like blowing up the mountain and it's clearly Rasenshuriken. it'd really help if people posted where in the manga they are getting their ideas from because at the moment we can only safely assume 'that jutsu' is related to something that can cut mountains in half and it's pretty certain he was talking about Rasenshuriken in that panel...
Again, Naruto didn't even start learning how to control his Wind nature till waaay after Jiraiya warned him about "that" jutsu. Why the hell would Jiraiya be like "I know you know NOTHING about elemental nature, but don't use "that" jutsu dude."
As for when he told him that, (dammit OneManga!) it was right before he was going to rescue Gaara, 'cause that's when Jiraiya gives Kakashi that seal thing to put on Naruto's forehead if he ends up going kyuubi-crazy. He didn't start learning Wind nature till after he gets back from meeting Sasuke for the first time after the time skip.
Edit: Holy shit, thank you aznmajiktaru. I was going through chapters on unixmanga.com. Shit is sooo slow!
Anyways, 251 is when he tells him that. Chapter 315 is when he starts learning about the elemental natures. So, yeah. It's definitely not Rasen-Shuriken. Jiraiya never even get's to see the Rasen-Shuriken.

and by "that jutsu" I believe Jiraiya is reffering to when naruto used to let the kyubi chakra take over so he becomes stronger and heals faster, but since he's not able to control it (that was the entire point of Jiraiya trying to undo the seal just a bit and getting owned by 3 tails) he tells naruto not to use it, which would also prompt why Jiraiya gives the seal to kakashi incase naruto fails to keep control.
Edit: NP, then again if I think about it some more, if "that jutsu" is only mention in 215 chapter it would make sense but the key mentions it too and for the life of me I can't find the chapter atm. Honestly, I don't think it's the flying thunder god unless they're going to cut to a flashback where Jiraiya tells naruto about his dad. There really isn't any clue as to what "that jutsu" is besides it NOT being rasenshuriken.
edit: ill come back later with some panels to illustrate what i'm saying
@Salodin
It makes noooooo sense. Firstly Jiraiya never ever mentioned Rasengan being an incomplete jutsu it was Kakashi. Secondly how could Jiraiya tell Naruto or worry about Naruto performing a jutsu that Naruto had no clue and no practice at prior to Jiraiya leaving the village. Lastly and the most obvious is that Rasenshuriken did not require the Kyuubi's chakra at all to perform. I can't understand why people would think a jutsu that Jiraiya specifically anticipates Naruto needing the Kyuubi's chakra for the Rasenshuriken, unless you're Jiraiya is just stupid.
As a side note didn't the seal frog and Naruto discuss "that jutsu" as well when they met up? That was well after the Rasenshuriken was finished just not able to be thrown.
I'm not disagreeing with you about the technique Jiraiya was referring to, but If what Naruto just gained in the latest chapter was his own kyubi-endorsed Sage mode, it may be absolutely perfect for penalty-free projectile Rasen Shuriken. It wasn't required, but damn if it doesn't make a difference.
Anyways, has anyone considered that all this talk about "that jutsu" much ado about a mistranslation?
Or, you know, jutsu is a basic term for any technique, it's dosen't have to be ninjutusu. Is it possible "that jutsu" simply refers to the fuinjutsu used to seal/unseal the kyubi?
That seems the most reasonable explanation given the facts, Jiraiya was simply referring to the Kyuubi cloak and Naruto having to be careful not to allow it to take over.
I definitely don't think it has anything to do with the 4th's teleportation technique though. That's the 4th's signature move and it'd make no sense for Naruto to magically know it all of a sudden, unless they reveal it was closely related to a bloodline jutsu and that's what Jiraiya meant by 'that jutsu'.
Really though, that's too many 'ifs' for my taste. I think the Kyuubi being under his control is the last thing Naruto was unable to do and now he's mastered everything set in front of him.
"that" jutsu is the fucking Yellow Flash thing. You guys sure know how to make things complicated.
"that" jutsu is the fucking 9 Tails Hentai Jutsu thing. You guys sure know how to make things complicated.
