Wow, some hard raging.
Why is it so hard to believe that they were all just caught off-guard long enough for that shark to get away?
Oh shit this thread is going to be bleach if someone doesn't do something quick...
BEAR GRYLLS!!!
Yes everyone realizes this... The fact is though this really did come off way more like Kubo than Kishi.
"We've got the scroll, kickass we won, high fives all around"
Kishi, "Oh shit this info was supposed to make it to Madara. Hope you guys don't mind me writing myself out of a corner I painted myself into."
Just disappoints me to see stuff that is pointless. I'm just surprised some people can't see it for what it is.
Ya ok you keep telling yourself a shark in a gerbil ball isn't the most retarded thing ever. Why do you even need the shark? Just send a ball of water.
If Kisame was this good at traps why'd he ever actually fight?
Take a chill pill dude
Well fine if you're going to be a dick...No no you're doing it wrong. When you don't have anything more to add because you can't think of anything logical to defend your point you say, "heh heh U MAD."
I guess the fact that a swear occasionally really makes people think I'm flying off the handle.
Here, asshole. http://www.narutospot.net/manga/naruto/169/16 Her healing jutsu shortens her own lifespan because cells can only divide so many times. It's never explained in greater detail, but obviously with how prevalent medical ninja are, it's not too far a stretch to believe the greater the injury you force yourself to heal faster from, the shorter your lifespan can become. This is why the original fox's cloak was slowly killing off naruto, causing him damage and then regenerating it again. If that wasn't the case then there'd be no reason to tell naruto to never use it, it's fucking beastly as long as he kept it under 3 tails.Have they ever said medical ninjutsu causes people to age faster? no! Tsunade's condensed chakra mark on her forward reverts her violently back to her true age as we see in the Pain vs Konoha arc that had nothing to do with aging faster. There is nothing to indicate that regenerating people's injuries speeds their death.
U MAD?
So now it's hard to imagine that a guy that's been summoning sharks all over the place... would use a shark summoning to get the scroll to Madara?
And who said it was the ultimate trap or that Kisame is a master of traps? Again, it was just a trap to buy enough time for the shark to escape into the sea. Mission accomplished.
Dear god you're all a bunch of whining bitches. You act like they've been in the water prison for half of a kage-level battle or something. They've been stuck for like 7 fucking seconds.
Also Orson you apparently don't read naruto. Come back after you've read the previous chapters and can remember that, just like real life, cells can only split a finite number of times. Every time naruto rapidly heals his life span gets slightly shorter and shorter.
I'm personally wondering why Konan is being called Nagato by Madara. Did she give herself to him, mind and body?
I predict next chapter it's revealed this whole Kisame fight was just a sharingan genjutsu
JUST WAIT!
Konan run!
I didn't even notice that till now >_<I'm personally wondering why Konan is being called Nagato by Madara. Did she give herself to him, mind and body?
Geez because that's not exactly what I said.
Tsunade's technique is unique aside from naruto's high speed regeneration. Taking wounds that would regularly kill you and regenerating from them will obviously be stressful on your body and that's what her technique did. Again though basic healing jutsu that repairs wounds that would regularly heal over time AKA a broken ankle, should not cause your life span to be shortened. Tsunade and Naruto's healing would replace organs and possibly even limbs it's a tiny bit different.
Also Deadgye don't come into a conversation well underway and assume that you know exactly what we're refering to. The only thing I was saying is Naruto healing from an ankle wound =/= him aging himself rapidly.
So the shark on land travels at basically the speed of sound? since you know they've only been trapped for 7 seconds. Weak writing is weak no matter but it's not like me saying anything will change it so fine you win, it totally makes sense.
Wait, you're complaining about the water prison trap? Seriously? The biggest flaw in your logic is you seemingly thinking Zabuza and Kisame are on the same level. Zabuza struggled to hold Kakashi in the water prison because he was fucking weak (by the current manga standards); Kisame was able to booby trap a scroll with water prisons for, GASP, just long enough for the shark to get the scroll and leave, because HE WAS A BOSS. Yeah, terrible writing, definite retcon, yep.
I guess this is what happens when the writing has been so good for the past forever, someone had to snap eventually.
Suck his dick, he's a shark.
As far as healing jutsu goes, you're right orson. But out of the group of ninja there, who would have been able to perform healing jutsu on Naruto's ankle to heal it? That's right, there aren't any medical ninja there. So the only way to quickly heal the ankle would've been to tap into the Fox which, if I understand correctly, is similar to Tsunade's jutsu which relies solely on rapid regeneration. And that would cause a shortening of their life span. Sure Naruto heals faster than normal from regular injuries, but that doesn't equate to basic healing jutsu... it's just the way he is due to having the Fox sealed in him. Tapping into the Fox for the sole purpose of healing even faster (much like what happens when he is cloaked), meanwhile, is solely rapid regeneration.
At least that's my understanding of it.
Fair enough, I suppose that could be the case. More or less though I guess the more interesting question is whether or not Naruto is able to control his healing now. Before whenever he was injured tapping into the fox's chakra instantly kicked in his healing.
Over all just like One Piece having Luffy's 2nd/3nd gear supposedly harm his body I'm doubting the "it'll age you" card will ever come into play. Ultimately it's a device just to show the serious nature of what the person is willing to do for the win.
