Can someone explain the rinnegan to me? I only noticed it having that control people summon.. Was shinra tensei a rinnegan only move?

In addition to enabling the user to quickly master various jutsu, the user may also use all six forms of chakra nature transformation which, as noted by Ibiki Morino, literally allows its user to use any technique they wish. It also allows the user to use all of the six paths techniques, a series of ninjutsu unique to the Rinnegan user.[2] Like the Sharingan and the Byakugan, the Rinnegan also allows the user to see chakra, including otherwise hidden barriers. According to Nagato's partner Konan, the possessor of the Rinnegan can also control the seventh path of Pain, who is "beyond life and death", that can use the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique, which allows the Rinnegan user to revive all people who have recently died. Because Nagato's Six Paths of Pain were all reanimated corpses, their Rinnegan was added to their bodies by Nagato through some unknown means. By doing so, Nagato could see each individual body's field of vision, coordinating the bodies with extremely precise planning, even during battles. Due to this effect, unlike the Byakugan, the Rinnegan does not have a blind spot, as long as the bodies are looking in every direction or at least one body is looking at the desired target. Because of this advantage, an opponent must blind one body, or distract all others in order for a blind spot to be opened. The animals summoned by the Animal Path also possessed the Rinnegan, suggesting that Nagato controlled and could see through them as well. Madara Uchiha also stated that while the Sharingan and more with the Mangekyō Sharingan can translate some of the text on the tablet the Sage left behind, only the Rinnegan can fully read the words on it.

It was the most often seen and used of the six paths, and acted as Nagato's representative during Akatsuki meetings. The Deva Path was permanently incapacitated after its chakra receivers were removed from its body following its defeat by Naruto Uzumaki's Rasengan. Madara falls down into Konan's paper.
He holds his mask and tries to use his space-time [ninjutsu], but the exploding fuda among Kona's paper prevent Madara from doing so.

Konan: "it seems the space-time ninjutsu was a failure. It seems you cannot [teleport] anything other than what is directly besides you."
(if you want to teleport yourself, you have to materialise. it also goes slower than when you teleport something other than yourself)
Madara: "I have to stop teleporting. If i won't be able to slip through the explosion, things will be dangerous indeed."
(There are exploding fuda all around me... I can't carelessly teleport)
Konan: (Madara can slip through materials for a time period of approximately five minutes.)

The paper starts covering Madara
Konan: "In order to kill you, I prepared six hundred billion exploding fuda... They will continue to explode for ten minutes."

I took it to mean this: Madara said victory is the person looking forward, not the victor of just a battle. If Hashirama won when he and Madara fought, Hashirama was the temporary victor -- he gained Madara's power, which I basically took to mean power = influence. But now that Madara is still alive, is "looking forward", and Hashirama is not, since he's dead, Madara is claiming he's the true victor -- he's looking forward, and in doing so gained Hashirama's power/influence/whatever.

Why would naruto even want or need new eyes? The guy has mastered the 9tails chakra, can probably combine it with sage chakra (i remember them explaining sage chakra needs a lot of normal chakra to balance it, so 9 tails chakra probably equals win), and has one of the most powerful ninjustus ever seen. Plus, he can sense chakra now (probably became the best sensor in the world), AND has a talented 8tail jinchuruki for a partner. Just not seeing him get new eyes at all...leave the eyes for the fags on team saucegay...
