I kinda laughed at the frog suit part, even after dying Jiraiya can provide comic relief thanks to a flashback. Madara looks pretty awesome though with that new mask. Kinda curious why he mentions going after the 9 tails first instead of the 8 tails, which should be easier to get even if Naruto hasn't mastered his powers yet.

Besides the last two pages, chapter was lame. Also, Nagato had no problem killing Jiraiya and barely remembered who Yahiko was when his name was first mentioned but now all of a sudden they're this lovable group of friends that miss each other dearly? Good riddance, hope it's the last time we have to hear about the emo trio and their rainbow bridges. Madara busting out the fan though with the Sharingan face and brand new arm, again, was pretty epic.

Yes and no. It's new in that it's different from what we've seen Tobi wear so far but it looks like the outfit Madara wears in all of the flashbacks.

Well you have to remember that this was a flashback, and there was a considerable gap in time from that to when Nagato fought against Jiraiya.

Anyway I'm with Domon here...Naruto isn't ready to take on Madara yet, but how is Madara gonna capture him with Bee being there as well?

No comments that Kishi has a new one shot coming out next week? The main villain is heading for the title character and the author is starting a new series and no theories on Naruto actually coming to an end soon?

Nah. Shounen Jump selected six "legendary" mangakas to provide six one-shots starting next week, Akira Toriyama is even doing one. Kishi's just happens to be first, that's mostly why there's no Naruto next week. It has nothing to do with him starting a new manga. Just some special one-shots SJ decided to do.

Good point. I highly doubt Kishi will remove that ability from Madara. For all we know implanting both Rinnegan/Sharingan could very well be the reason why his mask has that design (the Jubi's eye design).

I get the feeling he'll now have some of Pain's powers plus Sharingan. Sharinnengan is what others call it.

Just because Madara already implanted them, doesn't mean that Naruto can't get them. If Naruto and Nagato are of similar bloodline, then Naruto might not have awakened the Rinnengan just yet. What we've all been talking about is, him actually developing them on his own.
