Well, Itachi did give Sasuke some failsafes to prevent Madara from simply controlling him, and, since it's likely Itachi knew Madara's plans, the power he gave to Naruto might be a failsafe against Madara as well, what with Naruto being all-important in Madara's plans.

Of course, it's probably more likely that Itachi's plant is intended for Sasuke.

Kishi's one shot is next week. In fact, I don't think any of the one shots are out yet. I think they start with Kishi's next week, and then there's one a week after that.
