It's a mutation from Sharigan. was never stated it was better.

The only way the Byakugan was stated to be better than the Sharingan was at detecting chakra/sight. Byakugan is the ultimate "sensory" eyes, Sharingan has hax genjutsu to go with it but doesn't allow the person to see things basically by chakra flows. Byakugan also offers near-360 degree vision, whereas everyone else just relies on the constant "I can feel the presence behind me" and "boy am I glad he got behind me and spoke before actually attacking me" to defend from blind spot attacks.

I still laugh when I remember back in the day, Sasuke had to steal a move from Lee to win a fight. and he made it suck more than Lee did, yet he got praised for it.

It's actually pretty damn impressive to mimic complex taijutsu and such like that. At least in a realistic sense, it usually takes someone a long long time to learn to do new things with their body and the like. But uhh...yeah.

If both are derivatives of the Rinnegan, it kind of makes sense in a way. From what I could recall, Nagato (via Tendo) was able to (at least in the anime) see that Tsunade and the ANBU people were gathering chakra in their feet in preparation to escape/get away from him. Sounds more like a Byakugan than Sharingan thing.

well, Sharigan can't copy bloodline ninjutsu, so...

That raises interesting questions though, is Deidaras hands bloodline, a mutation, or a "ninjutsu"? And wouldn't the sharingan be able to copy the invincible guys ninjutsu?

It's strange of me to think this way but what is Sasuke up to? If it took about 1 chapter for Madara to implant Nagato's eyes, should it be any different than fusing in Itachi's eyes?
