I'm pretty sure that was 100% straightforward. What could you possibly not have understood?
He didn't do Kaioken much while Super Saiyan because it could've killed him. :< Think about ittttt. King-Kai says not to do it too much cause it pushes your body. Imagine how much it pushes him during SSJ. ;/ (Good god I hope this is what you guys were talking about cause I don't feel like reading right now).
How does anyone know how much it would push him during SSJ? How can I think about it when the specifics of that were never explained? That's what I'm already asking and you guys just keep repeating the same thing (that doesn't even answer the question).
Yes, Kaio-ken strains his body. But why would it somehow strain his body more when he's in a transformed state? It's plainly obvious that being SSJ doesn't put any strain on them, just look at Goten and Trunks, they play around in their super saiyan forms as little kids like it's nothing. There's nothing in the series that suggests that it should be more difficult for him to perform a technique while in a state where he's... you know, more resilient.
This conversation got boring 10 posts ago =\
Any spoilers yet?
It got pretty lame the second people took it seriously.
How about moving it to a dbz thread? >.>
Nah. DBZ debates should be the filler of all conversation.
- Nothing going on in the Bleach/Naruto/OnePiece thread? Bring up an instance in the last fight of that particular series that undoubtedly ripped off of a DBZ fight scene.
- Talking to that girl/guy that you've always wanted to talk to and get the inevitable awkward silence? Bring up that time everyone was fucking flabbergasted that Vegeta ended up hooking up with Bulma not to mention them having a kid!
- When the Jets lose 45-3 and you're in utter shock and disbelief by the end of the 4th quarter? Bring up that time when Frieza was fucking up Namek, got all the Dragon Balls but couldn't summon the dragon and thus failing to seal the deal like the Jets are known for.

I wouldn't say they don't put strain on them, otherwise they wouldn't get knocked out of their SSJ forms during fights while being weakened and not knocked out, which happens a lot. Recently in DBKai when Trunks is fighting Cell in his powered up form, Cell comments how besides having less speed in that form, he's burning alot of ki to maintain it. That and remembering that Goku and Gohan trained to maintain their SSJ form fulltime kind of points that being transformed DOES drain your ki somewhat while you maintain it(which isn't much different than someone getting tired while being active physically). Assuming I remembered all that correctly, and that somehow he can't magically have 2 ki straining abilities active which is unexplained but seems to be the case, he either has to choose from the more passive form(SSJ) or the short burst form(Kaioken) which is weaker since he never went above x20 and the Frieza fight made it obvious that SSJ > Kaioken.
as much as dbz conversation is indeed fine, this kaioken shit has gotten retarded. I hope spoiler come out soon for the sake of our remaining brain cells.
some what scatter brained spoilers
Spoiler: show
Oooh.. I'm interest about the Anko bits, and not simply because of her bits.
I have to admit... those mangas of Lee's Springtime of Youth were filled with epicness.
Whoever is writing these makes me want to jizz in my pants from laughter.
