manga was pretty sweet though, i get the feeling that the tittle will be more about jiraya pwning ass in that form over it being about pein. Did you guys see how he beat the crap out of that bull summon after he changed to that form? and Its not very clear cause you cant really see whos talking but from my translation, it seems like those 2 frogs are kinda like his parents or something? he called them mom and pop so ;x. The manipulation of water into ice was his bloodline. The Mist country had civil wars prior to Naruto because of warring bloodline clans, Haku was born to someone with a bloodline. His mother was killed by his father because she possessed a bloodline, and intended to kill Haku as well, but Haku killed him. His bloodline "limit" were the ice mirrors he used.

Bloodline techniques are not exclusive to eye techniques, his eyes had nothing to do with it.

I don't believe anyone is limited to a single element. It's just that most ninjas generally have a certain element naturally to their chakra which makes molding it easier for them (and harder for directly opposing elements I believe). But it's been stated that just getting to the element manipulation is a fairly advanced step, so just the idea of figuring out how to mold other elements would take a while for most people. So Pein's eyes are pretty damn strong for him to be able to mold all elements, I'm guessing they have more insight than Byakugan, but maybe in a similar manner.

Wasn't it said at some point in the manga/anime that the Sharingan and Byakugen were both descendants of another eye technique? I'm not sure one way or the other, but if I'm remembering that right, it's probably the Rin'negan which would make sense if it had similarities between both eye techniques we already know of. Which would make Pein really broken.

That black haired kid is Pein. Pein can jump bodies or something... probably similar to what Orochimaru did. It hasn't been real clear about that yet, but the guy fighting Jiraiya is Pein, who is the black haired kid.

Yeah I remember that being explained. The Sharingan branched off from the Byakugan, and the Byakugan came from something else. I think that's how it went. If this guy has both, then lolwow. Jiraiya is either incredibly fucked, or he'll somehow get lucky.

That paper jutsu girl doesn't really seem to into killing him, so.. typical of an anime one of the bad guy's will turn into a good guy and get killed protecting someone, etc etc.


Edit: Oh.. wtf. I thought Pein was that kid who looked like the original cursed seal guy. Maybe the cursed seal guy IS the kid who apparently 'died'? :O :O :O :O I mean, Orochimaru was there, and he's a fucking pedo. Maybe he kidnapped him.

Yeah the similarities are there between uhh... Yashiro? and Juugo, wouldn't be surprised really. If that's the case though, I wonder why Pein needed to protect him, Juugo is pretty hulked out but I guess (if that was him) there's a possibility his cursed seal bullshit wasn't active.

I think I know why Pain has multiple bodies now. Well, it is just a theory. There is probably a limit to how much ninjetsu a single person can use, even for someone with his eyes. He probably has every single ninjetsu learned, but has separated them into multiple bodies to get use of them. This is probably his "Summoning" body.

Has ninjetsu ever been broken down in a way outside elements? Like summoning, manipulating, etc etc. I'm pretty sure it has.

Anyway, I bet there are nearly a limitless amount of ninjetsu of minor tier. Stuff like turning your dick into a ninja star. People don't care about it.

Then there is the higher tier stuff that matters and what we see more often at this level of the manga.

But yeah ninjutsu has been broken down. Off the top of my head there's genjutsu, taijutsu, puppet jutsu, shadow jutsu (Shikamaru), eye techniques (dunno the name for eye-jutsu), bloodline limits are technically ninjutsu as well. There are specific levels of jutsu as well, can't remember how they are classified except shit like turning into a log is the most basic, and the shit Jiraiya pulls, for example, being the highest tier.
