So how did he get Sasori and Deidara's dna?
So how did he get Sasori and Deidara's dna?
Sasori: Blood from the swords that stabbed his "core" from his Father and Mother puppets? That or when he was working as a double agent to Sasori and might have gotten it then?
Deidara: Plot convenience.
At least we got the answer to that whole "oro summoned the 4th Hokage against Sarutobi" discussion from before.
One thing I love about Kishi is that he's always able to fill in gaps of information accordingly. It's as if he reads his fan-mail and goes "Oh shit they're right, better fix that asap!" Edo-Tensei was in desperate need of its own chapter to explain it.
Very true, and I also like that they explained where Danzo's two guards were. I kinda forgot about them entirely.
It is kinda lame that Edo Tensei. Then again, I doubt Kabuto is telling Madara everything of course.Spoiler: show
Excellent chapter, finally some fucking closure on that technique.
Unlike the Kaioken(I'm jk, love the addition to the topic title tho)
He'll eventually get beat to near death and Orchimaru will pop out, say "HEY GUYS," and get one shot by Madara.
Unless he busts out the Kaioken
After reading this chapter, I'm surprised Kabuto hasn't used Edo Tensei to bring Oro back. He has the DNA, and Orochimaru is technically dead right?
"Technically" is the keyword here.Spoiler: show
I swear to god it's like every time we have some giant ass discussion on the thread, Kishi comes back next week to explain everything we were just bitching about lmao. And Orochimaru's soul was sealed by itachi. Sasuke absorbed Orochimaru, Orochimaru comes out during Sasuke v Itachi fight, Itachi seals Orochimaru.
Only gripe about the chapter was the first page "WHAT IS NARUTOS NEW TECHNIQUE?!" Oh I don't know...another fucking rasengan? -_-
I still don't believe that he's fully, 100% evil. He still sounds like a "the ends justify the means, but I have semi-good intentions in the grand scheme of things" kinda guy. He led Anko and company to the hideout, he refuses to kill her on an obvious lie that even Madara can see through, he had no qualms with healing and outright supporting Konoha ninja in the past (Hinata for absolutely no reason, and Sakura for assisting in killing Akatsuki, which Konoha wanted dead as well), hooked Naruto up with intel, and while he absolutely kills, he never seems to kill without a purpose; whether its following orders from some absolute evil in order to not be detected (Killing the Konoha ninja around Sasuke basically on Oro's orders + killing Danzou's lackies on Madara's orders to keep himself revealed), or to further his own research.
I just have a feeling that he won't be some last boss character unless he fully, 100% gets taken over by Oro, but I suspect his ultimate ideals won't be some Sepiroth-like "remake the world in my image or outright destroy it~!!" schpeal.
I find Kabuto far more interesting as a villian than Madara anyways. Unless Madara reveals his plot is more then "TAKE OVER THE WORLD AND GET REVENGE!!!"
Also the line about how he couldn't get Shinsui's(sp?)(Itachi's friend) DNA seems really odd to be brought up just randomly. This is the first time Kishi has almost dropped a hint as to the "true" identity of Madara. Itachi couldn't save or dissuade his friend from the rebellion so he was forced to "kill" him that's why he empathizes with Naruto. Danzou only had 1 eye from Shinsui so there's a huge potential for him to be a missing nin. Then again I could be reading into nothing.
If you're saying Shinsui is possibly alive, remember, Itachi had to kill him to awaken the mangekyo.
Not necessarily, Itachi wasn't killed by Sasuke in the literal sense. Itachi died in front of Sasuke due to a sickness. Not only that Sasuke's eyes only manifested after coming to the conclusion, "Itachi loved me??!?! FOR REALS??!??!!" An extremely traumatic experience may be what's actually needed to trigger the metamorphosis. The "rules" of sharingan aren't exactly 100% accurate.
Sasuke's mangekyo was awakened when Orochimaru took over and Itachi sealed him away a second after.

Sasuke was never meant to know Itachi's true intentions anyways.
