Bloodline Expansion, did not expect. Shits getting pretty awesome. Least he's using this stupid ability to give further backstory to the ninja world. Learning about the previous kage's of the other nations is pretty cool.

On a sidenote, my naruto marathon is progressing pretty well. Started the 19th, watched episode 90 of shippuden a few hours ago. Hopefully done with the pain arc by the end of saturday.

Orochimaru was able to sneak back into konoha disguised as a jounin from a nation he created, he stood in the same room as the hokage during the chunin exams. If he can do that, it should be easy to sneak into nations and just get a tiny bit of dna. Don't forget the dude is mad old, not too far off from Danzo old. Kabuto's just putting that dna to use finally. As for how many he's using, it most likely doesn't take much to half-control them like he is. He summoned all of them before hand and is basically just making them appear- so it's not like he's using the technique and the chakra needed for it every time a coffin appears.

Yes. Wood release is a bloodline limit combining water and earth, and Dust release is a bloodline expansion combining earth, wind, and fire. I want to know what all 41 possible bloodline limit/expansions/superpowers are.

So, it just occurred to me that a complete sharingan has 6 tomoe total, symbolizing the 6 tomoe of the sage. I've always been thinking of it as only 2 or 3. For some reason I never considered the fact that people have 2 eyes.

Ah, the little things you realize while marathoning naruto. (I've noticed some things I thought were plotkais before were actually explained. Guess you can't really trust your memory when you put a week in between each episode.)

There are 5 elements right? (Lightning, Earth, Wind, Water and Fire)

That means there are only 10 combinations of both bloodline limits and bloodline expansions then, so 20 total..unless you're counting 4 and 5 combinations in which case the number becomes 25 and then 26 respectively.

I made a typo :3 Was supposed to say 31, in which I was including the 5 basic elements. So 5+10+10+5+1; Although I completely forgot about light and dark manipulations.

Also, anybody know what this note says? It's from episode 135/136 of shippuden, about 15 minutes in. Taka apparently didn't translate it. I can make out most of the hiragana but kanji still eludes me. (Been too busy with anime to and TF2 to continue learning from namasensei.)

although zetsu kicks into action and moves in on the daimyo of hi(fire), Genma makes a move and zetsu disappears into the ground.
zetsu: it wasn't here...

the daimyos move around between 5 places at intervals of some hours to escape the enemies eyes.
Zetsu: the ability of this kuro-zetsu here is belittled, really... all land/soil is me, myself.
