You know what he means. When the episodes first aired, several people showed their internet autism when others referred to it as "bad animation," and started spazzing out saying that we didn't know what good animation was, etc. Not directing animosity toward you, I just don't want a repeat of that. Animation, art, whatever: it looked like shit.

Repeating because it bears repeating. I mean road-runner style legs on Pain as he 'moves fast'? Really Naruto? Way to fuck over one of the possibly most epic fights outside of Saucegay/Naruto.

Kinda reminds me of Bakuman where that one dude was talking about dreaming of working for Disney. Except the dudes who did the Naruto vs Pein fight want to work for Warner Bros.

I've heard speculation that Madara is actually Obito. Other than him only showing his right eye and having given his left eye to Kakashi. What else is there to back this theory up?

Well the other day I was on episode 50. Now I'm up to 124. Sasuke is "reborn" or whatever, but more importantly Lee is fighting Kimimaro while drunk, this is so awesome lol. They seem to give Lee the best fights. Although the Naruto/Gaara fight was pretty damn great, along with Tsunade and Jiraiya vs Orochimaru. Can't wait to see what else is gonna happen.

Lee vs. Gaara is still probably my favorite fight over all. I did really like the fight between Choji and the cursed seal guy but really the whole Sasuke pursuit arc is probably the best of the whole series. Giving so many characters so many epic fights and fleshing out their characters made it awesome. That's the disappointing part of the new stuff in a lot of ways.

Yeah I've heard the newer stuff isn't as great, and that's fine.

At least in this unlike Bleach, most characters do get their back story (usually at the most cliched time, but whatever) and they're all pretty enjoyable. I'm guessing with Shippuden you get to see those same characters, but a bit more mature. I used to love Bleach, and I still like the older stuff, but I see why people like Naruto now.

About the movies, I'm guessing like with most shounen series the movies are completely non-canon but have some good fights in them? I've got them all, just wondering if they're worth watching.

The problem with the movies is usually nothing in them is new. It's just clone jutsu > rasengan = the end usually. They're ok from an action stand point. Just don't expect anything special or really cool new techniques except from villians obviously.

The last Shippuden movie looked pretty bad ass though since it looks like it's set in an alternative dimension. They may have a little more freedom to do new things with the technology they showed.

I'm sure it's completely intentional, but man I hate Sasuke with a passion. He's a whiny faggot. I'm up to Shippuden now (episode 10 or so) but know some of what happens because of Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. Probably to trying to do the whole sympathetic thing with him, but fuck. He is annoying as hell.

I loved the Naruto/Sasuke fight at the end of Naruto, but some of the animation was very questionable. I know they tried to make it look smoother, but some of it was awful looking.

I also accidentally read what I'm guessing is a pretty large spoiler by doing a google search on something unrelated. Damn auto-complete. I can't say that I wasn't expecting it or anything but still a little annoying.

Sasuke is kishimoto's favourite character and quite popular in japan. So his being a whiny bitch is completely unintentional.Sasuke tends to pop in and shit up the plot from time to time. Having said that the times where we get to watch his ass get beat down are some of my favourite moments.
It's funny now that i think of it how everyone is expected and supposed to be sasuke fanboys.
