it was? I know they were pissed at how weak she was, but I never read or saw anything that said she was disowned...she was disowned because she lacked promise, they mentioned this before
If the branch is only based on males that makes sense, but then it wouldn't make sense why Hinata gets discarded for her sister when her sister can't carry on the line either.
And I would have thought if she was discarded she'd be relegated to the branch family.
Nah, I guess I was wrong about the male thing since Hinata was heir but then lost it when she was deemed weak as hell. I have to hereby degree the notion of main and branch houses a shitty plot device unless her little sister was to be put in the branch house the day Hinata took over.
Up to episode 26. Even though it took like... 12 episodes to get here, it's fucking awesome. The final fight between Sasori v. Chiyo/Sakura. It's amazing how far she went in 2.5 years. During the entirety of Naruto I would just roll my eyes at how useless she was. Pretty damn good now.
Yeah. I would read it, but then I'd get through it even faster. You see, the problem is I'm unemployed. So aside from job searching and stuff, there's not much else to do. So this gives me something to do during the day. When cutting out OP/ED and all the flashbacks/crap per episode, I get about 14-15 mins of footage. I skip all the filler too. When I'm caught up, or nearly caught up to the manga, I'll start reading it. I did the same thing with Bleach.
Though I don't read Bleach at all anymore with how terrible it is and all.
Well I barely find reason enough to read Bleach, but I do it just because I've gone for so long, may as well continue it.. even if it's god awful.
For Naruto, though.. being unemployed and watching just because you have a lot of time; isn't there something else you could waste time watching, though? Something that's actually got quality? I tried watching Shippuuden, but I just couldn't get into it at all. It felt stale compared to the good parts in the first series.
I guess I could. I mean I'm not wasting my entire day watching Naruto lol. I'm also catching up with the pile of games I had sitting around, and movies as well. I agree with you as far as it feeling stale. Shit seems so much more dragged out. For example, while Sakura and Chiyo are fighting Sasori, Team Gai is fighting their dopplegangers. They literally started fighting them, I dunno.. 12 episodes ago or something crazy like that. I'm sure in the manga that's much shorter and to the point. I'll take maybe 2 or 3 hours (not straight) and watch Naruto. I can only find so many jobs per day to apply for.
Yeah, the Team Gai vs Doppleganger thing didn't last nearly as long. Stuff in the anime are stretched out to fill time with all of the stare downs or random speeches that take ages. If you cut out all the shit you don't need per episode, it'd probably be a quarter of the episodes it is right now. I'm not sure how it got as bad as it did during the first parts of the original series, though.
Also, if you really need something to do, just stare at my signature. I usually watch her for a good couple minutes at a time.
Hate to say this but enjoy the fight while it lasts ._.;
The fights with the dopplegangers weren't even in the manga if I'm not mistaken, just the very beginning when the dopplegangers confronted team Guy. The whole "be better than we were a second ago" was added in by the anime crew
Chapter 527: http://mangastream.com/read/naruto/68770608/1
Not a bad chapter, interesting new characters to say the least.
I figured they'd be good guys in history, but then again.. they did give off this crazy 'we're fucked up' vibe.
Stomachs, how do they work? Further more isn't 9 tail's stomach acid or whatever poisonous?
With the number of filler characters being made canon, I stopped expecting any of this to make sense.
I'm really not enjoying this at all. It reminds me of Bleach; chapters and chapters about characters I don't care about.
Some of these powers and plot devices are getting retarded as well IMO.
