Well, the difference is that most of the Bijuu probably don't have a lot of training and were probably rather weak as well. 8-tails and 9-tails are two of the stronger ones, and they both have good ninja training as well.

Akatsuki also attack in groups of 2 when they gathered the Bijuu's, which gives them an advantage over the Bijuu's, who more often than not were rejects and hated by their people, and as such most likely alone.

Watching the Naruto/Pain fight, finally. All the stuff prior to this was pretty awesome. I like the look of the Six Tails, but the fight itself.. Oh man. It reminds me of a freakin Saturday morning Looney Toons. I've noticed with the big showdown fights they try to make them look cool, but it just looks ridiculous.

I literally lold when the six tails took a big stone and hit Pain like a nail.

yeah, I would read that part in the manga. As was talked about a few pages ago, the anime completely destroyed the greatness of the last part of the pain fight. I(and probably everyone else in this thread) strongly suggest reading the manga version of fox/pain. You wont see anything new, but it wont be so incredibly retarded.

Haha :s Some of it is just to dumb to be taken seriously. Okay, well most of it. I've watched all of Shippuden now. I'll go back a few chapters, probably starting with the Pain fight and read it weekly now. This Hokage arc seems okay so far, though it's just started. Making Danzou the Hokage though? I mean I knew it was coming with all the scheming, and I'm sure looks are very deceiving and he's got a lot of power hidden behind those bandages and there will be some massive fight in trying to replace him. He's just a pain in the ass though.

Naw, you didn't spoil it at all. It's pretty obvious really. I mean what, this stuff is aimed at 12-14 year olds in Japan? Sure they might not get it, but anyone who's seen enough of these things and half a brain could figure them out.

Going on that, I'm sure they eat all that repetitive flashback stuff up too. Though I'm sure that's just added effect to add more filler/drama to the show. That'll be one more reason alone to read the manga.

Well I'm officially caught up with the manga. Kinda depressing actually. It's kept me pretty entertained. Waiting a week for 17 pages sucks, lol. After this war I can't really see the manga continuing that much longer. I guess they could drag it out ages, but it looks like a lot of stuff is coming to a head. I've pretty much not had a problem with most of the stuff happening. The enemies are ridiculously over powered, but somehow most times the good side pulls through (as always) Really, who can be stronger than Madara/Sasuke/Kabuto? And how do you top another war? Usually it's then that something should be ended, but it's dragged on anyway. And ususally shits the plot up even more.

My biggest qualm is Sasuke, and it seems that's shared pretty much everywhere. Naruto trains his ass off to get new abilities and powers and whatnot, and everything is pretty much handed to Sasuke on a silver platter. Granted he has to go through a fight or something first and almost dies a lot, but is miraculously revived all the time. The amount of chakra he has now just borders on retarded. This is a fact I'm sure that's new to anyone here, but just having read/watched everything, it's a bit annoying. Though after years of reading shounens commonplace. Which leads me to something. If Sasuke has Itachi's eyes now, Sasuke's are perfect or whatever. So when Itachi is summoned, how the hell can he do anything? Oh well.

I think they explained away the issue about Itachi's eyes. Since he's been brought back through impure world resurrection, he'll have all his eye powers though technically Sasuke has his "real" eyes. The jutsu simply needs the DNA of the person in order to revive them with all relevant powers intact.

Don't forget the crowjob either. Who knows when that Chekhov's gun will be fired.

Hate IWR yet? I sure do. I'm actually glad that Jiraiya is at the bottom of the sea lest his dignity be defiled by the cheapness that is IWR. The Akatsuki grand plan screams Dr. Wily along with Kabuto's revival of all the "bosses" in the Naruto series.

You're right about the end being near though. The random powerups of Sasuke in order to keep up with Naruto are becoming a chore along with his flawed logic. Fuck, even brooding Vegeta in DBZ had to train his ass off just to keep up with Naruto equivalent.

I'll take more Looney Toons over any more random powerups.

I always see Bee/Naruto as the exceptions to the rule of being a jinchuriki as they have pretty much connected on a far deeper level than most of the other hosts. Bee pretty much is the Hachibi and Naruto has learned to forcibly access the Kyubi chakra. Combine that with the wall of support they have from their villages and you have two pretty unique shinobi.

To be fair it's been said that Yugito could also turn into the two-tails at will but obviously she wasn't as well trained as Bee/Naruto nor do we know if she was on the terms that Hachibi/Bee seem to be on.

While some can say that Gaara was pretty strong as the host of the Shukaku, he still wouldn't have been able to keep up with 2 Akatsuki members during the Chunin exams when Lee/Sasuke were giving him a run for his money.

I know lolDBZstory but wasn't it reversed? I always saw it as Vegeta training his ass off while Goku cruises on by with random power-ups explained through his "natural" talent.
