Kind of betting this is going to continue how it has been, only 2-3 weeks per fight, until near the end. Otherwise this would be a 2 year long war.

I'm generally pleased with the way shit's been going.

You don't say "we're gonna have a third ninja world war" and not show the shit that goes down. I didn't wanna see shinobi and Zetsus running at each other and colliding on an open field like this was Braveheart, and then cut to Naruto mastering biju-mode in twelve chapters, that'd have been disappointing.

Also, I've always wanted to know more about the other villages. An allied front against a common threat is the perfect scenario for showcasing those villages.

Finally, the more ninja combat we see, less Sasuke we're likely to see. We're all grateful for that, right?

And thus the idea for Dynasty Warriors: Naruto was born.

But yeah, I'm enjoying this too. I agree with the way to tie in the background of other villages. They wove the background of Kinkaku and Ginkaku in pretty nicely, rather than spending 20 chapters talking about how big and bad they were, and how they killed Nidaime.

I mean, I think Edo Tensei's a cheap ass technique, but at least they're making use of it to provide some backstory.

Also, I can't wait to see Kakashi fight. I was watching some filler clips , and yeah, while we all hate filler, any filler that gives Kakashi a fight scene is ok in my book. He doesn't pull the Sharingan-app-store BS.

think a spin off for this series is possible? ninja world, different time? he can so "akira toriyama" this up and leave it up to others to make another series, but i would rather him continue production regardless of project. we all know how Dragonball GT turned out compared to Z and normal DB

Without a doubt. There's a ton of backstory that can be explored even if it has already been hinted at in this series. They could do a (mini)series for each hokage era, for example.

Honestly I think Shodaime and Yondaime spin-offs would be killer.

Ever since Madara's backstory was revealed I really want to see the Madara v. Hashirama fight in full.
