Hey, Piccolo was one of my favorite characters in DBZ but his powerups were just to display he was still relevant before the saiyans rolled in to save the day. Much like Chouji.

Got his Nail boost, fought Frieza and then got beat to hell when Frieza powered up.. Fought 17 after his Kami boost and then got handed on a technicality. Oh and he had the balls to take on Cell. Then he just went full-on support during the Buu saga.

All irrelevant anyway. What made Piccolo likable was that he wasn't stupid as rocks like Goku, nor was he a pride-driven moron like Vegeta but he was the only non-Saiyan to actually try taking on the villains. But I still stand by the Piccolo effect.

Only good thing about this chapter. It got all that filler development out the way. I hope next chapter semi wraps it up and the following half of the next chapter can focus on conclusion while the other half on the new filler development for the next characters.
