I actually thought this chapter was pretty lack luster. The last chapter with Chouji going butterfly was built up and then this one didnt follow through. I am disapoint.

Chouji saying he's getting ready to end this fight was pretty boss with the way he powered up. Kishi did the same thing with Kakashi, I'm guessing he's saving all these emotions of determined characters for the climax of the war. Looking forward to it.

Yeah they really built up choujis transformation, and it ended on kind of a dud. But at least it was quick and painless, I prefer it this way. Interested in seeing how he's going to "end the battle" now though. Again, still wondering wtf happened to Gaara's dad though...

THIS chapter was AWESOME, I love 8 tails humor, and I told u mah man Choji was commin through and that he would beat up some foos! YEAH!!! MARTIAL EXPANSION combined with BUTTERFLY BULLET BOMBING = GIANT BUTTERFLY BULLET BOMBING!!! Now mah BOI NARUTO needs to plow through Iruka and Shibi and dem fodders and rescue mah DUDE YAMATOOOooooooooooooo! BTW U SEE mah man CHOJI flyin over dem nikkas, YEAHHH, he bout to drop a MEGA BUTTERFLY BULLET BOMBING on DEM BOYS YEAH!

In all seriousness though, Choji, Shimakaru, Ino have the BEST TEAMWORK as a squad, and the best students-to-teacher relationship out of all the teams...in the Manga PERIOD! I actually felt touched when Asuma said his final-final words to them about their formation being perfect!

Naruto prolly won't plow through them lol, but he's gonna pull some prank to and WOOSH past them really fast with 9 tails chakra mode after hearing Iruka out though...

It's not like Naruto would have learned the Tailed Beast Ball anyways. He only learns shit in the midst of battle. Let him go out faster to the war imo. Iruka is just gonna lecture some BS about how he's scare that Madara wants his power to make the 10 tails etc etc.

It's not like all of those guys could stop him even if they tried. They got their ass handed to them by a single Pain, Naruto kicked their asses all versus him. They'd need to throw a kage or two in there to have a chance of stopping him if Naruto really wanted to get out and got serious.

It might be a more fair fight if 8-tails helped them contain Naruto, but I think Bee realize now that it's useless lying and trying to contain him further.

At this point, I don't think he wants Sasuke so much as a good minion/distraction for his enemies. If one were to consider Naruto his biggest threat, Sasuke is at least a guaranteed wall between them unless the Sauce pulls an Et Tu Brute.

And he began to master the Rasengan while not fighting, yeah it was rough and he eventually did it for real in combat but you get the point.

The Sauce is the perfect minion. He's the perfect companion to Zetsu's logistical support.

Sasukes so blinded with rage he can pointed in any direction as a portable battering ram. Plus, hes got connections to the protagonist and what self-respecting villain wouldn't want a minion with emotional impact?

Ultimately, the betrayal is what we're waiting to see. Well that and this manga has lacked the Sauce and all the hate/lulz he brings out of us readers.

Of course he's taught stuff, but usually sucks at what he learns and he only truly gains the inspiration to learn/master something when shit is on the line. Even his summoning tech was eventually "mastered" when he was pushed off a ledge and left to die or summon correctly.

@Dantrag: He learned the last basic aspect of Rasengan in the middle of his fight with Kabuto.

I can only think of Sage Mode/Frog Katas and Naruto Rendan as something he learned otherwise.

If Sasuke hasn't kept in mind that Madara is as much behind his brother's demise as anyone, I'll be appalled.

Really, the only reason I wanna see him again is to see what his new eyes look like.

I'm gonna go with 1/2 in battle, and 1/2 out. He learned the Shadow Clone and Mass Shadow Clone outside of battle (reread the first chapter, he tells Iruka about learning an awesome new move before he uses it against that Fodder ninja at the end). His transformation techs (like turning in pebbles and rocks against Pein in the end there) he learned outside of battle, Fuuton Rasenshuriken he learned outside, Sage Mode, the completed 9-tails mode, all learned outside of battle.

In battle/verge of death/etc, he mastered Rasengan, Summoning, his Uzumaki combo (which he thought of only after seeing Lion's Barrage and then proceeded to copy and use it against Kiba), whatelse? I can't really think of anything really, his arsenal is pretty weak >_>
