He'll get cool with the fox to kill Madara. "An enemy of my enemy is my friend", and such. The Nine Tails seems like the type of entity that would out right pass on the idea of merging back into the Ten Tailed Beast, to maintain his [self] being.

Keep in mind, the hachibi pointed out that it's relationship with Killer Bee was no different in the beginning, which suggests that it grew amicable over time (once Bee had subdued it's chakra, of course).

We haven't been given reason to believe the kyubi is any more or less malevolent than the other biju (indeed, the ichibi seemed pretty fucking mean when Gaara awakend it... crazy, too), and thus no reason to think it won't change over time. Perhaps it will take longer in the case of Naruto and the kyubi, but it's not unlikely.

I actually think in the case of Naruto, it will be faster than Bee. That's kind of Naruto's super-power; make friends with the most unlikely people - and fast. Like Gaara, Pain etc.

I really hope the Naruto/Kyubi teamup is short-lived and used only for the battle with Madara. They both clearly have beef with him so it makes sense to teamup against a common enemy.

Naruto is best being on hostile terms with the Kyubi as amicable terms with the Hachibi is what makes Bee unique. The forced chakra drain is a unique powerup for Naruto already and the crowjob still remains unresolved.

I don't remember if hachibi ever mentioned it (if you find otherwise, please correct me), but in the flashback scenes involving Killer Bee he seemed a lot like Naruto.

Which, I guess, would make him a bit of a dick, in young Naruto's case.
