Latest episode was pretty decent. Not too exciting for me because it was mostly just to show the post-timeskip characters we haven't seen, and I had already seen them in the manga, but at least it was a plot episode without any slow bits or bad filler. The animation on Sai's tigers was really nice, too.

You're right, but the inner-monologuing and arguing between the two shoulder frogs is really getting old. The "fight" has only been a few chapters, but I'll be satisfied when the fight actually starts (i.e. when either one of them stops toying around).

I was thinking jiraiya had to have more to it from the start seeing as how easy he could do a regular and how he could control its power so well (in fillers on bandits). But yeah, it's just a super huge oodama, I guess what naruto was working towards with the oodama.
