Thunder God technique isn't speed, it's teleportation, so it would still be better than even being 10x faster than Raikage.

I wonder of Naruto will ever ask for assistance in learning time-space/barrier jutsu. He's apparently got the heritage and skills for both so I'd love to see him actually work them into his repertoire. Every time I see him being boss in the manga I just imagine him finally being in a position like Minato where he leads lesser skilled nins.

What doesn't he have up his sleeve now anyway? He's got stamina, power, speed, technique, wind element, tricks, sense, etc. He could use a few more techniques though- especially wind ones. His sage mode senses rival even the best sensors, and his nine-tails mode lets him sense evil feelings. If he learns space-time and barrier jutsu, and got full control of his kyuubi.. he would literally be untouchable. He wouldn't be able to cast genjutsu, but it wouldn't effect him ever. Thinking about his possible directions always gives me thrills. :3

Back on topic though.. good chapter. Flashbacks are usually boring, but ones like these are nice and informative. Bee is one of the best characters in naruto. I've been wondering since last chapter if maybe this current problem will resolve into Naruto using his senses to track down or kill all the perfect copy clones. It seems like a job that only Naruto can do.

So, if Bee hadn't stepped in to stop the fight, Naruto would have essentially killed himself anyway. As Raikage was punching, Naruto was forming the seal to do shadow clones, which is suicide while in tailed beast mode isn't it?

I actually think they're going to use Tsunade's slug to attach to everyone in order to tell the difference. When Shikamaru's dad was trying to think of a way to counter it they showed a random panel of the slug right afterwards, seemed like Kishi was foreshadowing maybe. Chapter was awesome but as has been said, DAMN IT FLASHBACKS!

I'd like to see Naruto dig into his Uzumaki heritage and learn more about fuin-jutsus. If he was just like his mother and she could learn them, no reason he can't. In fact, doing so would set him up perfectly for Hiraishin development.

In addition to seeing him utilize more futon jutsu, I'd like to see him discover his secondary affinity, what with Kakashi mentioning that jonin usually have two.

It sounds ridiculous, but I still believe Naruto's gonna be the one to master combination of multiple elements, just because he's so bloody good with kage bunshin.

His 9-tails mode really reminds me of the sage of the six paths shadowy appearance it shows us every so often (well, around Naruto's neck anyways), so, this seems like it could happen in the future.

If Naruto actually got anything close to proficient in anything other than Rasengan variants and Kage Bunshin, I would jump for joy.

Basically, anything that makes him even remotely closer to what... any other ninja in the series is like.

Considering it's called "Hurricane Chronicles" I think it's highly likely that he will not only learn water element but also learn to mix the water and wind to create some kind of hurricane-like jitsu (probably just another rasengan variant).

Can Naruto even be considered "proficient" at Rasengan when he still need kage bunshin to stabilize even the basic ones?

At the basic level, no I guess. But with looking at all the variations of it, I would say so. He surpassed his father in adding an element to it. Also with the double giant Rasengen or whatever it is, and I know there is a version or two I'm leaving out.

Leaves me to wonder though. If he's in 9 tails mode, how is he gonna do a Rasengen without killing himself?
