He was always touted as being incredibly deadly and powerful. Even as far back as the chuunin exam arc when it was found out that he was a double crosser, he was hyped up so much. Has he lived up to the hype? So far to an extent I suppose. But we haven't at all seen him in action since the big sennin fight.

Man..remember when Kabuto was just a douchey medical ninja who got a big rasengan to the stomach during the Jiraiya/Orochimaru/Tsunade fight? Yeah, I miss those times.

Honestly characters like Kabuto that are schemers usually aren't a lot of hype. They're characters that you don't really think too much about until you see them and then you remember how potentially dangerous they are which is why those characters tend to be portrayed behind the scenes plotting. You usually don't see their full strength until the conflict that they die in.

That's not to say Kabuto couldn't troll the troll with some mega super secret ultra trolling technique not even madara knows about.

When Madara forced Kabuto to reveal how edo tensei works, kabuto did say to himself that he still had "that one trick" up his sleeve or something to that effect, so there is still a troll to be had.

Also Kabuto gave up the secret to making him release IWR way too easily. I think that if Madara takes control of Kabuto and makes him release it with the hand signs he told him to do it might have a completely different effect.

But stuff like that is something I would think Madara would assume of Kabuto/Orochimaru. Those 2 have always been as sneaky as fuck and Madara knows it.
I doubt he took Kabutos word on how to stop one of his most advantageous jutsus.

I find it more likely that Madara would feel he CAN stop IWR, but that Kabuto has some other trick up his sleeve to make him more dangerous then IWR already makes him.

Even if he isn't teleporting, he moves as fast as if he teleports; and with out the need for tags just makes him even more baller in a fight then the Fourth.



That's just baseless speculation. I'd assume it's true, but theres absolutely no evidence to point one way or the other.

I agree, there is no evidence to prove it either way. However, the one thing we do know is that Kabuto & Madara must depend on each other to win this war to achieve their own separate evil gains. Knowing that, it's highly plausible they made a deal to transfer control of the 6 Jinchuuriki between them, so that Madara can power them up further via Rinnegan.

Another reason why I personally believe Kabuto won't make his move to double cross Madara, is that the use of the Jinchuuriki won't be the opportune moment to do anything-- much like Orochimaru, he will wait until the best possible moment to double cross, unless Kishimoto feels like throwing everyone for a loop early.

Chakra perception is understandable, but anything resurected via Edo Tensei is immortal, Izanagi is just a waste of an eye on them. I'm more curious as to how they'll fight with them, Kakashi seems to drain chakra fast when using the eye, but at the same time I don't think it's been shown if the resurrections have unlimited chakra, or if they need to rest at some point to continue using ninjutsu.

Izanagi isn't a waste of an eye, you have to think with a more open mind about the ability. Danzo and Madara may have both used the technique for evading death/destruction, but the technique is still a reality-warping ability; it might have unknown properties for use.

Like I said before, all baseless speculation. He might be able to control them, he might not. It'd be pretty hard to believe Kabuto dispelled the technique on the jinchuruki and then let Madara use it on them instead so he could control it, and at the same time it's pretty hard to believe Madara has full control over them even with the Rinnegan since it's kabuto that summoned them.

Pretty much my first response. Kabuto simply resurrected them, but that does not mean he is willing all of them to his bidding as he is in cohorts with Madara for now.

The mangas done a decent job of explaining shit a chapter or two after all these types of questions pop out, but I highly doubt these guys are as OP as we are led to believe. I'm sure they'll get their asses handed to them properly in a month or two.

By virtue of plot-kai, they will definitely get their asses handed to them. However, they are as powerful as we are led to believe, and we are seeing it in almost everything they do currently. Kabuto has surpassed Orochimaru when it comes to Edo Tensei and also has a hidden cockblocking jutsu for his traitorous partner, Madara has mastered manipulating the First Hokage's DNA for his white zetsu army, as well as having an Eternal Mangekyo in one eye and Rinnegan in the other. Rinnegan on it's own is all kinds of hax-- he basically has every ability outside of the Seventh Path. Madara also has an unstable Sasuke with Itachi-based Eternal Mangekyo that he's been subtly manipulating to his ends to counter Naruto. And all of this is going on within two days currently.

I fully expect some BS to happen that ends up with Kabuto & Madara defeated, and Sasuke escaping for another 2-4 years, starting Part III.

Better not see him fall over 2 chapters later due to lack of naruto charka, fuck that! Other than that it's nice to finally see him pull some other moves without the limiting oh must use kage bunshins cause I can't manipulate chakra alone.

Besides the clusterfuck the story is in right now, chapter was pretty badass. Always nice to see Naruto just straight beasting everyone. I'm confused about one thing though, how come it's only Naruto that can sense evil? Shouldn't all jinchuriki be able to do the same?
