Well at the very least I think they're trying to show that after seeing Gaara all grown up he's had some kind revelation that his ways of the past were wrong. That's what I get from him saying that there was some purpose to the Edo-Tensei afterall. However the next panel he does attack like a boss again lol.

They're essentially in a nightmare. Mentally aware but unable to function on their own. It likely goes against what a lot of the top ninjas had as their personality, pride, being strong, etc. and now they can't even walk on their own.

You have to remember Oro was a fucking boss. He may have been stupid to think the sauce wouldn't betray him but he wasn't weak. The only thing that you could say is that he was weak willed but that's hard to say because Sas is retardedly stubborn.

That's not funny or ironic.
Of course they'd be glad to be brought back to life if they weren't being controlled by another person and had to fight people they didn't want to.


and as for Orochimaru, people seem to forget how strong he actually was. He was most likely as strong if not stronger than Jaraiya. Orochimaru has been considerably weakened and close to death almost the entire story, yet still was a handful for anyone to fight.
And Sasuke himself said the only reason he was able to beat Orochimaru was because he was weakened. Which btw Sasuke never did fully beat Orochimaru. He was still inside him waiting for his chance,which he took during his fight with Itachi. But then he got sealed because that was exactly what Itachi was waiting for.

The episodes have basically become 90% flashbacks now. =/ I would rather they actually progress the story and have filler (so I can just wait until the filler ends and watch the good stuff) instead of how they are doing it now.

I think that's why Bleach does so much better when compared to Naruto with fillers. Bleach fillers are mostly whole arcs on their own that usually expand on story elements Kubo himself forgot. Naruto fillers are mostly random nonsense that does absolutely nothing to support the story.
