Itachi's technically already dead. According to some cliche out there, he's not gonna undead that much longer. Due to him "not belonging" in this world or being killed again.

Damn, can't say I've seen a character manage to effectively do self-mind control.
Also, Kabuto's probably going to try to get Itachi's crow so he can revive Shisui Uchiha.
Eventually we'll find out that Danzo used Shisui's eye on Itachi to convince him to murder the Uchiha clan.
I'm just so happy we can finally see a full-power Nagato, unrestrained by any physical or MENTAL limitations. Nagato is clearly the most powerful Shinobi in the show - possibly in existence - and he's now about to fight (already is, really) two Bijuu and a full-power Itachi? Fanboys couldn't BEG for a better part of the series!
I'm totally curious about what's going to happen with Itachi now. He's no longer being controlled by Kabutorochimaru, but I'm sure he's still subject to the "laws" of Edo Tensei. If Kabs un-summons his summons, Itachi will probably fade away as well, and if he were to ever re-summon them, would that mean that he could once again control Itachi? Has Itachi seen/heard enough from Naruto about the state of the world to "die peacefully" again, for good? That seems to be the only way to prevent Edo Tensei from being used again on the person.
God, I just hope this fight lasts more than 1-2 weeks. The best part about summons is that they never run out of chakra, so to see the full unbridled power of some of the strongest shinobi in history is just too nerdgasm-y for me to resist.
I don't know why Kabutorochimaru is all excited about Shisui's eye, considering his entire body was left as evidence to put the murder on Itachi, and all he need is a speck of his DNA to edo tensei it...
Was probably destroyed years ago. Don't think he started collecting DNA till recently, and the shisui thing was like 10 years ago.
if he can get the DNA of all those dead Kage, there really is no excuse for it, especially if Shisui's eyes were acknowledged as that precious with how Danzo took one and Shisui himself covered it up as being destroyed to prevent dispute over it.
Orochimaru was able to transplant Hashirama's DNA into Danzo, so maybe Kabuto could transplant it into himself and have unlimited use of it outside Edo Tensei. Or maybe he wants to use it as a bargaining chip against Madara, or perhaps even a way to protect himself against Madara.
Been waiting countless chapters to sig the crow.
Clocks ticking on Itachi's life but I hope he gets to meet Sasuke again to force a change in his personality towards either opposing Madara or delving into sheer madness.Originally Posted by Lucavi
Sasuke's whole motive of revenge is already on shaky ground and having Itachi back would really set the stage for what endgame would look like. He's already seen that Naruto has matured since their last meet but seeing his brother would really set a good contrast.
Plus, who doesn't want to see the rematch where Itachi isn't intentionally trying to get himself killed?
That's why I want to see him fight someone seriously. We've never seen him not hold back, or fight to his fullest. He was always either holding back out of compassion or to script a fight down the path he wanted it to go, or suffering from some disease (the ultimate Japanese Cop-out: Tuberculosis!). I'm fine with him randomly finding Sasuke (as if Madara would ever allow the two to meet), but only if Itachi flips his shit and unleashes his absolute full power on Madara before he his time runs out and he fades away.
Perhaps Sasuke seeing how strong his brother really was will entice him to actually put in a little work for his power instead of relying on hax power-ups and never getting on his ass and doing some crunches.
Terribly sorry. :D
at least goku had heart disease (the amount of meat he ate you kind of saw it coming :/)
Spoiler: show
Yes, he has.
