I'd say having 6 sets of eyes is more advantageous than having all his powers in a single body. He definitely wouldn't have gotten shanked by Itachi in that situation if he had another set of eyes.
Though I'd say Naruto, Bee, and Itachi would have been able to easily exploit each of the individual weaknesses and beaten them down 1 by 1.

Yeah Kishi was better off not making Madara have the six paths because all it does is create a shitload of new questions on what the fuck exactly is going on.

I wonder if the ninja world will ever see another natural-born prodigy like him again. The man had two normal parents and was just straight up born with 6 paths chakara lying dormant within him. Granted, he needed an incredible amount of time and an incredible amount of triggers to fully lash it out, but even as a child training under Pervman, you could see his massive potential in that he could use and master every element without special training. Its no wonder J-man felt so dismayed at his pupil turning down a dark path. There was literally "that" much potential for good, and it was getting there, too...

Edit: He had 3 sets of eyes there. He had the lizard summon, his own set, and the death god's eyes. That's why Itachi threw all of those ultra-deluxe ninja kunai at the eyes; he blinded them before summoning his big boy attack.

Itachi fucking thinks of everything. He really is the golden standard (aside from Yondy) of how to fucking be a boss ninja.

So I was re-reading this chapter when I realized the potential it had. Like it was purposely designed by Kishi for the "face" meme audience. Cannot wait for this next chapter, I wasnt to see where they head to once Nagato has been sealed. I doubt Itachi will be around for much longer but I am loving ever single moment with him <3<3
