Didn't Minato invent rasengan? How would the Sage know it? :-/

I think it's just Naruto... and on the extremely EXTREMELY unlikely chance that she could use the kyuubi's chakra and learned rasengan from Minato and Kabuto somehow found her body; Kushina. I don't really even see that being it since Gaara seems to recognize whoever is approaching...

Yes. As I said earlier on this page;

and fyi, the Rasengan is not a bloodline limit technique or known to be used by the Sage. Minato created it after watching a Tailed Beast Ball.

That's not to say the Sage couldn't know or learn it, but why would he use it when he probably has a dozen more powerful and useful things he could use instead?
I just think people are over analyzing this.

Pretty much. It's like that one chapter in Bleach where the final panel was a "mysterious" boot when Ichigo's friends were running from Aizen/Gin. Everyone speculated like crazy and it turned out to be just Don Kanonji lol. It's more then likely just Naruto.

So anyways, in theory the Sage of the Six Paths knows how to either use Rasengan, or he would learn how to do so insanely fast, as he was the original person to teach on how chakra flows and is manipulated. However, there's like no physical way for the Sage to appear in this war, unless one of ya'll assume the Sage is Kabuto's trump card.

I'm starting to think Kishi just pulled a Kubo with a pointless cliffhanger and it's going to be Naruto. If not then it being Sot6P would be crazy. You'd think he'd save the emergence of that character towards the very end with a strong build-up.
