    Pretty funny so many people were thinking Naruto would get the rinnegan because of his fox cloak looking like the sage of 6 paths. Now its looking like sasuke has the best chance for getting it lol.

    This is getting silly. I thought the sharingan and rinnegan were of different bloodlines? Wasn't that the whole point of Tobi and Danzou combining the Uchiha and Senju's power? Does this mean both Naruto and Sasuke can get the rinnegan as well?

    The whole whose power belongs to what blood and said person is of this family is a mess. I'm so confused lol.

    If im remembering it right....

    Sage of 6 paths had the rinnegan. Uchiha got the eyes of the sage, while senju got the body. So it would make sense that a fully upgraded sharingan can become rinnegan I guess lol. I'm honestly not sure where uzumakis fit into everything.

    Kind of. If I remember correctly, the Sage divided up his power between his two sons:

    Elder son got his 'spiritual power' or whatnot (so meaning the eye techniques), thus got a watered down version of the Rinnegan (that being the Sharingan)
    Younger son got the sage's.. did they term it as 'body' 'strength'? So ridiculous Chakra amounts/capacity or something.

    I'm probably messing it up, but the Sharingan is traced back to the Rinnegan.

    Either way though, for however badass (and fucking hax) having the Sharinnegan is, we have to remember that Madara did still get stomped by Hashirama and his wife, even when having the 9 tails on his side.

    There's no indication that Madara had the Rinnegan when he fought the Shodaime. He said he got it shortly before his death, and we don't know when that was.

    And well, Sharingan and Rinnegan are from the same bloodline. Senju Clan and Uchiha Clans are from the same Sage of Six Paths as well, just far far descendants. So it makes sense how Rinnegan can be manifested on both bloodlines. Rinnegan on the Senju side could be seen as a "mutation" or something that occurs rarely every few hundred years or so (Even though Tobi said he "gave" it to Nagato). On the Uchiha Side, it's now obvious that it's the part of the evolution of Sharingan.
