Naruto/Bleach/One Piece dubs have actually been watchable. Just tonight they threw us an awful edit-curve. I guess you really can't keep "saki" or "drunken" in a toonami program. It'll make kids think they get stronger by getting drunk.

Wouldn't want to give off the wrong message. True strength comes from throwing sharp objects.

The episode was not nearly as good as I'd hoped. ~ 65% Naruto powering up, 30% reaction shots, and 5% fighting. The next one (January 10 wtf) looks like it might make up for it though.

one of the worst episode ever. the whole episode is about naruto going from one tail to three tail, WTF?

they ruined the manga, the pace in the manga is much better.

They were going at such a good pace the past few episodes and then they throw this shit at us. So much panning back and forth with eyes and walking and wind blowing and making me mad!!!


At least the manga doesn't move this slow.

Anyway... if we're left with another cliffhanger about who Pain is when Jiraiya says "I finally know who you are!" or whatever, that will be pretty disappointing.

At about the halfway point I happened to take it out of fullscreen to write down times for turning into gifs once I download the RAW and I thought to myself, "Ok, cool, only halfway through the episode and things are about to get good." Boy was I disappointed when I realized I had gotten to the end and watched literally 30 minutes of Naruto screaming. It wasn't really terrible, it passed the time I would've spent sitting around before going to bed, but I mean it really sucked compared to recent episodes. Hopefully January 5th doesn't let us down, but 3 weeks wtf
