Forgive me but since when has Konohamaru been mentioned or seen for that matter since the original Pein attacked the Leaf Village. Just curious how it's shoved down anyone throats since he hasn't appeared since then. It's along the lines of saying the female characters other than the 2 kages (and even then!) are useful additions to the story.

On a side note, if Naruto's clones all share a like mind, why wouldn't he "de-spawn" some of them to help with the fight with Madara?

You are missing one of the biggest themes of the manga if you honestly don't understand why Konohamaru is going to be Hokage at some point. Also, it's implied everytime he's shown, he doesn't need to be shown in every chapter for it to be evident.

Killing Kakashi off again would have almost no emotional impact on the readers seeing as he died during the Konoha invasion arc. If Kishi wants to establish Sasuke as a villain which seems to be the case since the Kage summit, he has to off someone relevant who hasn't died before.

I believe only the original body will get the memories of a clone, and only when that clone is unsummoned. That's how it used to work anyways.

All the clones will get the memories*, but he'd still need to despawn. And yeah he's not going to despawn the one fighting madara because he needs to help, and the others aren't going to despawn either because they're helping.

(*) When training to learn the wind element he sent one clone to get tips from Asuma. When it despawned all the clones got the knowledge.

He's got like 6 of them out, and last we saw Real Naruto was doing fine, so going back into one body would make him pretty strong again, no? IDK, lots of the clone stuff has always confused me lol.

I guess were to assume kagebunshin also splits the 9tails, because the 9tails was talking and giving chakra to a clone which makes no sense at all.

Also kinda retcon i guess, cause during the first deidara encounter, naruto went demon cloak mode and his shadow clones started getting tummy aches and depopping instead of just going demon cloak or being uneffected at all. Who the hell knows, at this point im just along for the ride and cant worry about the particulars since kishi keeps writing himself into a wall.

Demon cloak was generally the 9tails influence starting to take over, since at the time Naruto wasn't really able to just take the chakra without also taking in part of the 9tails malice as well. Hence why the clones controlled by Naruto started to feel pain. This time he's just getting straight up chakra willingly from the 9tails, so it didn't have any adverse effects. My understanding of it at least.

I lean towards this because it was explained that leftover chakra returns to the user when a clone is depopped (though not at a perfect return). So obviously chakra transfer between clones and the host is possible and suggests they ahve some sort of chakra link. So the Kyuubi could theoretically feed a clone chakra even when its sealed in the main body.
