Honestly, looking at the current story arc, it looks like it'd be tough for them to stop midway through just to fit in a filler arc. I mean, yeah they do it in bleach, but I haven't really seen it in Naruto. On the other hand, I can easily see them dragging out some of the fights, which in the case of Kakashi vs 7 Swordsman would be awesome, but in some other cases would be boring as hell, lol.

Yeah, the Ninja War has so much awesome filler potential that it's not even funny. There are plenty of characters they could feature on different battlefields.

Like how they fillered the ride on the turtles back, or fillered between the kage summit? They are quite skilled in the art of bullshiting in this anime, dont underestimate them haha.

That's what I'm saying though, those particular moments were ideal gaps in story to toss in a big long filler. Coming up, we have Naruto training, the war starting, and then Naruto joining the war, which is more or less where the manga is now, and those three different segments aren't divided at all, they're more melded together in story flow (...if that made any sense, lol. It did in my head >_> ). The war itself will 100% be stretched out as fuck, and I could easily see some fights that took 1/2 a chapter in the manga taking like, 2 episodes. And if they decide to do some flashback fillers, it'll be when they focus on certain characters during the war.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that yes, there will be fillers. But it won't be like 3~4 months worth, but more so like bits here in there.

These are the types of fillers I hate the most. When I'm rewatching I can just skip the fillers.. but when it's part of an episode I either have to manually seek which means no laying down or I have to watch the fillers.

Chapter 7 of Rock Lee was glorious. Lee 'performing' the sand moves and hijacking the last one had me rolling.
